Background: Zacharia Delmar, son of Faerûn.... Was found by his foster dad before he completed his 3th birthday. Dom Zachariah Dela Mare, sailor and Baldur's Gate resident was once in one of his travels through the Trackless Sea when he sighted a mid sized boat with an odd blue light, then he dicided to check that out. When he got to he boat, all seemed very old and as if it was a long time left behind, but now, comes the very odd part of it all: Inside that boat, laying on a Selûne's Badge Image Painted on the deck (The 2 eyes surrounded by the Stars) there was one kid, protected by this Blue aura... Dom Dela Mare, was an ardent Selûne worshiper and he did not take more then a second to assossiate it with his Godess, so, he took this kid as a gift from Selûne and started loving the kid since the very first momment.
Later, after a couple of years, Dom Dela Mare, now teaching his foster son every secrets about his Godess and how to properly worship Her, had to go on another long travel, but during this travel dom Dela Mare got cursed by an item, it was a helmet, a very evil and powerful curse that took lot's of patience and hard work to have it removed, so in between, this objects was sucking Dom Dela Mare senses, and making him a little bit of nonsense more and more every day. During this hard times, Dom Dela Mare decided to cut Zachariah Delmar, his son, genitals, in a totall missinterpretation of his Godess wishes (He assosiated his Godess sex with his kid's and tried to make him closer to a woman, but it did not work, since Zachariah was always and will be a man). Therefore Zachariah Delmar never had any sexual wish, despite his feelings are intense in a very powerfull uncommon way(That happened when he was about 8 years old). After Dom Dela Mare had this cursed object removed by one of his friends, he realized what he has done to his kid, and then decided to make him a true champion in life.
Zachariah Delmar, started his training on becoming a Selûne's cleric when he was around 10, at the very first momment, he was only a worshiper like the others, but in a very special way, seems like Selûne had a very close relationship with him, he could very prematurely understand all Selûne's dogmas and domains. It came for him to start, in fact, his Cleric adult and definitive training when he was 16, it was done in one of Selune's Order Temples in Sword Coast. After 10 years, 26 now Zachariah was ready to begin his search for his true origins but always together with and loving more and more his Godess, Selûne the Silvermoon!
Dom Zachariah Dela Mare, Zacharia's foster father, died when Zachariah was 23, when the entire crew of the ship which he was wroking on was slained by evil creatures of the Trackless Sea. He never forgot his father and how important he was to him, despite the problems occurred when he was a kid (The genitals decaptation), he knows that without his foster Father, he maybe would not have the opportunity to be what he is today. A very happy and ardent Selûne's Cleric/Worshiper.
Goals: To grow powerfull, spread Selûne's Message, set an outpost along the Fields of the Dead way, for travelers who need a refugee.
