Background: Vincent is the second generation of the reborn Imphras Order. His father, and uncle were the last living members of The Shield household. His family, serves one of the Shrikelords, acting as agents in matters concerning the church, and as officers among the shock troops within the army of Implitur. As the youngest man of his generation Vincent was often left to tend their home, to look after the family.

When the other knights had been sent to investigate the rumors of a unearthed ruins, Vincent was again left home to look after his family. When the knights returned, they found a stone faced Vincent burying the remainder of those he was instructed to protect. The house had been burnt to the ground, and the holding ravaged. While none of the knights blamed Vincent, he did blame himself for the outcome. Shortly after, when he entered into the order as a squire, he took up the duties of a errant. . and left Implitur.

Goals: To find forgiveness for his failings, to prove himself a knight of the Imphras, to gain satisfaction for the murder of his family, and to gain the respect of his father.
