Alec is a power hungry individual, but at the same time he is not your average evil madman crazy for power, he is intelligent enough to know how to use his blade and his diplomacy to win people over, he is usually polite and well behaved in front of others and normally vicious and savage when alone(and in the middle of a fight), he has no code of honor associated to fighting, Victory is the goal n matter the means used.

Habits/Hobbies:
Fighting is his primary hobby, he does enjoy weapons as well and given the opportunity will most surely attempt to save a rare weapon for his collection

Although he knows Celestial, Elven and Dwarfic(aside fom common) those are rarely used and he is trying to learn draconian

Weapon of Choice:
Longsword is his favored weapon but he seems to enjoy wielding longswords a little more longer than normal

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Alec is usually in awe of chromatic dragons, their savagery and fierceness , their longevity and might, he is always interested in anything related to them, be it slaying a metallic dragon or learning from a chromatic one, he would be a good favored soul of Tiamat if it was available in the server.

Alec also has a soft spot for small fairies, and will normally avoid killing the small ones unless strictly necessary.

Background

The Birth of Aryteith the warlord

The wind was strong on that night sixteen years ago, it was the prelude to a storm but the woman screams were a prelude to something much more desirable a birth, something that happened rarely on that small nameless village with its 60 inhabitants, mostly elders.

The boy that was born was clearly not pure human, his eyes were purpleish and emanated a slight eerie glow, and it could be seen already in his head a few black lines showing the color of his hair at the time, not much was though about it as many had heard stories of strange bloodlines showing up every now and them.

The boy's father was the village's blacksmith, the mother the local alchemist, both knowledge about their crafts, but with mediocre knowledge compared to true masters, still the boy grew up learning about weapons and potions, and for a few years it was good but after his seventh birthday the boy, named Alec, started to dream...

Dreams of talking weapons, there were 5 of them, all longswords of different sizes, shapes and colors, they would initially stay together in a star shaped formation speaking as one and teaching the arts of strife, plunder and magic, his parents dismissed those as a child dreams, but once he started to cast minor blessings something had to be done.

He was taken to the "wizard" that lived nearby ,a charlatan who knew as much about magic as any rock lying around, the "wizard" claimed the boy to be cursed, and took a hefty sum of gold to "dispel" this curse.

Realizing how fearful his parent and the villagers were of his powers, Alec started to hide his magic practicing sword-fighting(and showing exceptional skills with the longsword) and, sometimes he would run to a nearby cave to train his chanting and overall powers.

On his 14th year of life the boy had named himself Aryteith which meant according to his dreams, "Warlord", he did so for now he would constantly go to the nearby areas of his village picking fights with the local bandit populace and that is what caused it all.

Have being tracked down, he led the bandits to his village which was razed and plundered, every single person slayed and all bodies mutilated, that night, he saw it, he still cant tell if in a dream or if in reality, but he saw, a tall figured enveloped in blood colored flames, wearing a full plate adorned with skulls and spikes.

The figure spoke to him in a dark, strong voice..."Ye who have been chosen by war take upon thy blade the destruction of those who have done you wrong, perfect thy skills and grow in power, only then will thee obtain all you desire"

The next night the bandits camps were washed in blood, and the few who survived tell the tales of a giant horned demon who came, killed and bathed into the slain's blood.

Alec continued his journey for more 4 years, having being helped by fairies and other bizarre creatures until he reached baldur's gate, but those 4 years are better left to tell another time...
