Halfdan is a human, battle druid of Silvanus (Uthgar if Luna can apply the change
His physical attributes are weak, but in battle he is ferocious thanks to his strong link with the totem.
He comes originally from the Blue Bear Tribe. That's why his animal companion is a bear. In the age of 6 he was chosen to become a druid by the elders of the clan. In the same year (1313) his clan broke in two pieces. The Blue Bear tribe was corrupted by Malar who defeated their holy totem. Halfdan left with the new formed Tree Ghost tribe to search for a better future. His bond with the bear companion was so strong that the animal stayed by his side altough Halfdan did not serve the Bear totem anymore.
His tribe ventured into the High Forest, north of Baldurs Gate. There they seek shelter near the Grandfather Tree, arakhor, an elder treant. The forest is inhabited by many creatures and humanoids, mostly elves, gnolls, orcs and centaurs. The tribe is currently negotiating with the more civilised races the option to stay there. They may forge an alliance with wood elves.
Halfdan was chosen as an experienced traveler to go south and search for other places where his clan could settle if the times would require a change. Years of travel in hard conditions put his health below a normal human standard. Hi did become stronger though from carrying his backpack.

• Find a good spot for a temporary camp in the Baldurs Gate area
• Find an even better spot for his tribe to settle in the Baldurs Gate area
