Personality Profile: Atel can be very charismatic when she wants to be and is even more strong willed (to a fault sometimes). She has been through alot in her short life and the result is a woman who knows when to not take any crap. She is very intuitive of others feelings and usually knows what to say to comfort the greiving or depressed. She is also not afriad of a fight, and holds a very, very deep seated hatred for things of the underdark -- especially drow -- to the point where she will run stupidly in to try and kill the vile thing heedless of her own or others safety. She flirts alot but has vowed to never be in another serious romantic relationship again unless her one love returns to claim her.
General Health: Generally healthy, very quick and stronger than she looks, but being as small as she is will get dizzy and even faint when she looses blood or takes a hard enough hit. Her size and speed make platemale cumberous, so she wears chainmail instead and does not use sheilds.

Habits/Hobbies: She enjoys singing and humming to herself and sometimes will do so while she is in battle. She also enjoys dancing (preferably with halfling men) and good music. Her hobbies include Archery, Wine, and weaving flowers into hair.

Background: She was born in Cormyr during the drow wars and was orphaned at an early age, but was taken in and cared for by the church of Sune. When of age she travelled to Jiyyd, Narfell where she met the man of her dreams and married young. However he being a soldier, she was constantly seaperated from him and eventually lost of faithfullness to her husband, who subsiquiently left her and never returned. Devistated by her own lack of forsight and wisdom as well as her failing to keep the Tennants of Sune Atel reinvented herself as a Lady Knight. Taking vows and promises that she would not only keep, but would help keep her safe from the temptations that undid her before (Vow of chastity). She still holds out hope that her husband will one day return to her, or at least forgive her, and has come to baulders gate searching not only for him but for her own redeamption of sorts. Perhaps in this new city she can find her own peace.
Goals: To kill a drow at some point -- To spread the true word of Sune, which does not include adult...things -- To prove that hin can do things just as well as or better than all the arrogant tall people.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: She is courageously stupid where Drow are concerned and will follow them underground to try and kill one, a lead (even if false one) regarding the whereabouts of her husband is a good hook, anything involving the church of sune is a good hook as are things involving her old homes in Cormyr or Narfell. Being a Paladin, choises that would make her have to balance what is Just and what is right are always good too. She loves Pie. She has elvish heritage somewhere back in her line but does not know it, and thus does not know it is two generations removed.
