PART FOUR BEGINS NOW. WITH NEW POSTS AND POLL!
LAST TIME ON LANGSTON TRONS: ULTIMATE SOJOURNER EXAMPLE THREE!!!!
We left our hero in a sudden struggle of life and death, dare he leave the house to face certain doom in the outside world!? Find out in this episode... NOW!
((OH yeah you can post critique and or insults related to Langston in here if you want, or your own experiences etc, Anything really that is on the subject of Langston))
It begins on a cold moonlit night, none around. Sitting in front of the fireplace, sitting in his chair, his eyes fixated upon the fire itself, as it dances in the darkness.
"It moves it sways... why does it bother me?"
He edges close to the fire, getting off from his chair kneeling close to it.
"No.. no there is something missing. It would seem I would like to forget, but there is naught I can do. I can only remember the first oracle that was seen before me.."
Slowly looks to the ground, solemnly and with a sigh.
"It was something similar to this that I
remember... That. It was merely symbolic."
Stands up, facing away from the fire slowly wandering towards the door.
"Perhaps.. a quick visit wouldn't hurt."

As Langston goes down the road he finds that the bridge has been ruined. Sparing little time to morn it he dashed across the rope foot bridge in the cloak of night. He came upon the campfire, still there, still being managed by strangers and passers by.
This was the place he met various adventurers, of course he told them of the Brilliant Shining Lord of Darkness, but they didn't take too kindly to that so in most cases he ran off screaming. It was much later when he was lamenting in the middle of the road that he could not be an adventurer and brave such dangers. By doing this however he attracted attention of those very same adventurers he so envies. One portly dwarven woman yelled at him some rather inspiring words, frightening him into the distance.
And thus his adventure began. A wolf came upon him brutally injuring him and was later saved by a deer. This deer became a sort of companion for Langston in this harsh world, but this deer too was destroyed by the very same harshness as another wolf appeared and ate it, leaving Langston only time to run away in fear. The horror of it all caused him to retreat to his home, into his mother's arms.
In later days he ventured out again, but this time with his crossbow, for he knew how to at least use it. His aim was quick and deadly to the wolves, however in some cases the wolves returned their own deadliness.
Cycle and cycle of adventure drove him further into the woods, gnolls, kobalds, all of the evil things swarming about him. However this was for naught, he retreated once again to his home, contemplating the horrors he beheld.
Later after the Friendly Arm Inn was Claimed from the Bhaalists, he once again went out in adventure the roads being much safer than before.
In this time period he garnered a bit of strength, even learning how to fight like a barbarian.
In his
peak he was well armored and well wise to the ways of adventure.
However this was all an ill omen for something greater, for one night, that all changed in a flash.

The horrors he beheld beyond all horrors, such destruction, such magic. The creature not meant for mere mortal eyes. It was this that drove him to realize what he truly was, no mere human he once thought. The very blood in his veins compelled him to non-action against this creature of the hells, awakening an even deeper power within him that he may not have realized directly but manifested itself in unknown ways to him.
Fear came over him, he lashed out at those near, he ran, ran home to where he could be safe from all fears.
A few years went by, the madness, It compelled him, once again to venture forth into the world. There is no comfort left for him now.

SUPER SPECIAL BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE!
JIM: Well when I created Langston I was trying to make a character that was simply too weak to fight yet was useful in many ways. It was a slow process, I decided on making a human because they are ordinary and common like all wimpy people who just want to be left alone. I also wanted to avoid combat as much as possible, semi-inspired by that one guy who played WoW and only leveled up by going to different locations, not fighting anything.
It was never my intention to be annoying to other players as I played as Langston. Though sometimes I feel I over do it or attract too much attention. But then again, other people are usually just sitting around a campfire not saying anything. I thought "hey, why don't I just worship the campfire then." and of course by doing so I created some sort of crazy religion as that being the main shrine, of course, Langston made it up mostly.
Why did I shift the character from a rouge barbarian to a Warlock? Well if you must know I never actually played as a warlock before, for some reason I cannot play as intentionally evil characters, even philosophically evil. Langston is basically a medium point of exaggerated humorous annoying ill doings. This could include his master plan to block the road by standing in the middle of it, or waylaying passers by. Langston would never put himself in danger on purpose of course.
Why did I write this? Oh this! because.. the server was full. Stay tuned!

((It was Divine Retribution, Teehee.))
It was not all doom and gloom, of course. The taste of wealth and adventure drives him.
Even now he has a plan...

ACCORDING TO THE ESTEEMED LANGSTON CANON...
Langston is not the kind of person to let things go that easily, especially if its accusations associated with this ill doing,
such as making the dead walk... or fight against goblins for fun. Of course this would require him to get back at those who accused him, but of course to do this he would need help. Perhaps he will hire a thief to plant some evidence upon those who accuse him of what he did. But if it works as planned remains to be seen.
IN OTHER NEWS...
Langston has grown in power, he accepts this power as his own and embraces it to whatever end it will meet. Since he has done this he is much more balanced and delightful to be around, except to those who rub him the wrong way. Alas this also makes him more vulnerable as he is much more haughty and arrogant, perhaps leading to a bit of a downfall. Not to mention he seems more drawn to people more concerned with power than other people.
IN CONCLUSION...
Magical and special things may happen, or awful horrible things will come about.

Weird Facts about Langston.
1. HE DOES NOT KEEP A JOURNAL.
Why? Because he fears his own rambling writing style could be used as evidence against him if one were to prove he was possessed by demons or other such horrendous accusations. Luckily he is generally fresh of mind and has no problem remembering whats important. But if you must know, he still has his original journal at his mother's house which he
forgot about after he left her to a smaller nearby residence.
2. HE BATHES, A LOT.
Why? He hates being smelly obviously, unlike a whole bunch of other travelers on the road. In fact the water he bathes in at the inn is usually very fresh since nobody else but him uses it.
3. IN ANOTHER LIFE, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN A BARD.
He has a deep appreciation for art and other trivial things. This is shown in his rather garish outfits. Bright and wonderful colors and shiny hats are things that make him happy.
4. FOR SOME REASON HE TREATS CERTAIN TOOLS AS PEOPLE AND VICE VERSA.
Such as his
now deceased faithful plank named Plankston. He used to have a Lantern named Lampston, but lost it. However he did manage to purchase a new one named Louie. Some may have assumed the fire in the Lantern is named Louie, but Langston thinks of Louie as a whole, the fire being the soul and the Lantern being merely a protection like skin. He is not afraid to use others as protection against the harshness of the road. Besides very few could resist helping such a poor defenseless man as Langston.
5. LANGSTON LIKES SYMBOLISM.
He sometimes, though rarely nowadays, would wear a mask showing his inner nature, that which is of a demonic creature. The Lantern he holds is actually a statement to those who would understand that he is Warlock. He purposely uses objects that shouldn't be weapons as weapons as a form of expressing brutality, though he rarely engages in physical combat unless he was attempting to shoo away some half orc or other rabble. Even his outfit could be considered a form of symbolicalness as most poisonous or thorny things have wonderful color.
6. I REMEMBER, HE HATES AND FEARS WOLVES.
The reasoning is that they represent everything he hates about the wild lands. Dirty grimy ugly, fierce and annoying. Normal and Demonic Hounds do not bother him though. In fact this is the only thing he despises about the Friendly Arm Inn is the stuffed dire wolf near the door, it bothers him every time he sees it.

Langston is a very emotional person. But also very treacherous. IS it that he actually is crazy? Or is he faking it for the sake of bothering others? If one wants to know the truth of it, you will not get it from Langston himself.
But you want to know? Right?
What is the cause of madness? People are simply not born crazy.
Langston cannot help but react in such a way given how the world is. Death, violence, chaos. All these things he witnesses, constantly. Given the nature of his power and how it comes easy for him, there is more time to reflect upon the workings of the world. He simply cannot handle this, and reflects it all. The contrast to his normally peaceful life before he became a traveling sort, haunts him.
Should you feel sorry for him? Of course not, as a person he is just not worth it.
He is selfish, greedy, devious, and of course purposely malicious. Thats interesting. Purposely malicious? Since when? Maybe in his mind he believes his helping people.
"There is a method to my madness, if they think I am crazy, I can slip through the gaps." -Barry Weiss.

Since the server is full I thought I should post on what Langston is up too recently.
Okay basically he is attempting to revive his companion faithful plank named Plankston. However to do so he would have to reincarnate its soul into another plank. He thinks he has done the proper rituals and gathered the nesscary reagents for this task.
So far he has...
-Drenched the Plank in Goblin Blood
-Held it before those hostile to him in a vain attempt at Defense.
The last Ritual is combining the ingredients at the altar at the Ruins in the Hill as he believes he can somehow harness the negative energies there.
Also when Langston was singing (albiet rather poorly) on stage near the campfire it was a parody of
this song.
