Grape grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Larswood. Grape never knew his biological parents and was raised by his elvish foster father Daorwynn Ul'Thalairn, who found Grape as a baby abandoned in the woods during one his hunting trips. Daorwynn having no other family took the baby in and raised him as his own.
From an early age growing up in the village Grape was always fascinated by the monks from the local monastery. Their martial prowess and the methodical views of life. He often took trips to visit the Monastery and began spending more time there than at home. Many of the monks took a liking to the young boy and would let him sit in on lessons to their pupils. It was from this that Grape decided he wanted to join the monks and devote his life to their order.
It wasn't long before Grape was accepted into the monastery and became one of their most promising pupils. He excelled at all forms of their art and quickly rose through the ranks of the order and became one of their most liked and respected members.
Through the years he became one of their best martial artists and impressed many of the monastery and local village by protecting them from trouble on a few occasions. One such incident saw him protecting the villagers from a Bandit Chief who saw fit to take the small village for his own. Just as the battle was looking lost for the simple village people, Grape single-handedly defeated the bandit chief and his personal guard causing the remaining bandits to flee into the nearby woods.
Apart from these rare time of trouble life in the monastery was quite peaceful and rewarding.
But as the years went on, Grape knew he may not have many years left and felt though he needed more fulfilment in his life. Hearing much news of plight and hardship growing in the lands from passing travelers and merchants, Grape concluded that it was time leave the monastery and put all he has learnt into use by ridding the lands of the growing evil. With this he decided to gather his party before venturing forth.
He now wanders the sword coast vowing to bring his own justice to all wrong and evil-doers and protecting the innocent from harm.
Goals: To wipe clean all injustice and evil from The Sword Coast.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Is often heard reminiscing about the "good ol' days" when there seemed less evil abroad in the land.
