Baldur's Gate Gazette Volume IV Issue 6

Unread post by Eifer »

Upon the tail end of the month of Ches, in the early morning, it is raining lightly within the city of Baldur's Gate. The droplets of rain patter off newly-shingled roofs, and the few souls with early work before sunrise grumble to themselves as they draw their hoods up and huddle their cloaks closer to their bodies. At the first light, a few scamps emerge from the Baldur's Gate Gazette office in the city; bright and energetic, they seem positively undeterred by the drizzle. Today is the distribution day, after all – and they've dealt with much worse than a spot of rain.

Farther down the Trade Way, it is not raining, and the citizens of Beregost hear the shouts of the paper-boys right on schedule. On this morning, Elycia Innovius can be found within Beregost, thumbing through one of the issues as if still pondering the formatting of a certain page, flipping forwards and back again. Once satisfied with the distribution there, the editor makes her way back north the rest of the day, one issue of the Gazette still tucked underneath her arm.

As always, back issues are available at the Baldur's Gate Gazette office in Baldur's Gate, as well as within the front lobby of the library in Candlekeep.
