"I hate her..."

"But... I can't... I won't..."

A Tiefling girl sits against the wall in the cage in the Mage School, her hands and feet in shackles. She frequently weeps quietly, and sometimes she apparently mutters to herself. Zilv'eari had taken her there, after Vala refused to tell her what she wanted to hear.

"I c-can't let them find you... they'll take you away from me..."

She buries her face in her hands.

"W-what am I going to do...?"

[Fenris]

Vala sat in a dark corner of her room in the Darkspires, curled up in a fetal position with an
intense fever, and clutching a scar between her right shoulder and neck.

"S-she put more in me..."

Zilv'eari had come to her room... broken in... and asked Vala questions she would not answer. She *could* not answer. The Drow Jabress had not been pleased... or maybe she had become very pleased indeed with her defiance. Either way, Zilv'eari had given her a cut... and introduced more of the Balor blood to her veins. She could feel it merging... blending... with her own tainted blood. Corrupting her.

"Will he... b-become stronger...?

For some time, only one thought fought through the fog of despair that clouded her mind

"I hate her..."

She did it... Zilv'eari put the collar around her neck.
