A message of political interest sweeps through the lands. Apparently Doron Amar has called the dwarves for aid in some matter, but has been denied. King Dovkin Battlehammer regrets he cannot do more, and sends a prayer of protection to their elven brethren.

The three dwarven brothers let out a war cry in unison as they charged the towering troll. “IRONFAAR!!” echoed off of the high cliffs that surrounded them.
The troll bellowed a booming roar in defiance as he charged them, the ground shaking beneath.
As the foes clashed, the dwarves movements complimented each other, demonstrating that the three had fought many battles together. Tagnar and Kelburn went to either side while Durgan charged it straight on. At the last second Durgan dived into a role and went under and up between the trolls legs. The massive creature tried to snatch at him but was met by the axes of Tagnar and Kelburn swatting his arms away with heavy swings. “Take dat ye damnable ugly!” Kelburn yelled as his ax, suddenly ablaze with fire, chopped into the creatures flesh. It let out a roar of pain. It also seemed suddenly fearful because of the presence of the flame.
Durgan hopped up out of his role, landing on his feet. Now behind the beast, he swung his axe into the back of its knee. The creatures leg buckled forward and it fell to its knees with a billowing roar. Its swung its arms about like giant battle clubs. One of the swings was impossible for Kelburn to dodge. He raised his tower shield and braced himself for the impact. “HELLS!” He yelled as he was suddenly soaring through the air after a massive thud against his shield. He crashed into some rocks by the side of the cliff face, dust clouds swirled about him.
Tagnar managed to be more nimble and dodge the trolls flailing arms as he worked in quick hacks with his ax. Durgan had managed to hack away at both legs swiftly enough that the troll was not able to stand.
Just as Kelburn was shaking off the dazed feeling and trying to regain his feet, he noticed two more trolls thundering down the narrow mountain pass toward them. Then he heard a roar from the other direction and saw another troll crashing up the pass towards them.
All exits were blocked.
“Oh hells.” He muttered to himself as he got to his feet. “Oi! Tagnar, Durgan! Da welcoming party is ‘ere!”
They both looked up from the work of death and noticed the incoming foes. “ Oi let’s bib ‘em!” Durgan yelled characteristically while pounding his plate mail, just as a shot of flame spewed from Tagnars hand and consumed what was left of the mutilated troll and ensured its death.
Together the three of them charged up the narrow slope to meet the two trolls in battle. “Oi! I’ll take care of dat one behind us when he gits up close, eh?” Kelburn said as they charged. Another burst of fire shot forth from Tagnars hand and engulfed the two trolls heads. Booming screams of pain blasted down the pass and reverberated down the canyon. The trolls, suddenly disoriented and off guard, were ill prepared for the fierce dwarven trio that hacked limb and body.
However, the pain and disorientation made them even more dangerous. Like ferocious animals backed into a desperate corner, they thrashed in painful rage. Their massive limbs soared around, swatting, kicking, and swinging. Each of the dwarves took solid hits in the struggle, but used the momentum of their falls to come back up in a roll like they had been trained to do when fighting such behemoths. Landing on their feet, and ignoring the bludgeoning pain, they leapt back into the thrashing troll duo and met strength with steel. Yells, grunts, clangs, and thumps dominated the scene of the dangerous struggle.
Kelburn became aware that the third troll was closing in behind them. He closed his eyes for a short moment as the battle raged around him.
Images of the old Ironfaar stronghold passed in his mind. It had been his home. Now he was homeless. Images of Bahamut passed through his head, memories of dreams he had had. Images of the ceremony he underwent when he had been endowed with the powers of dragon-kind. He knew his powers had been granted to help him serve Bahamut, but he also knew that his powers would help him reclaim a home.
With that powerful thought in mind, he spun around to face the monster and let out a yell that surpassed the roar of the trolls themselves. It was not just sound that stormed from his chest, but a surge of flame billowing forth like an erupting volcano. The blast continued as his brothers finished off the other two trolls. He continued to breathe forth fire in a constant stream of heat as if he were a flame thrower.
Suddenly there was a tap on his shoulder. “Oi! Oim thinkin’ ye got ‘im, brudder.” Kelburn stopped suddenly, breathing hard and gasping for air. He hadn’t realized how long he had been breathing fire. The three of them stood side by side and looked down at the black charred mound that had once been a troll.
“Oi, yer screamin’ so loud loik sum pansy gonna attract more trolls, ye dolt!” Durgan yelled.
“Oi say let ‘em come!” Tagnar retorted. Just as he finished his sentence, a rock crashed near them, exploding into pieces. They looked up the cliff and saw a row of trolls preparing to hurl more rocks down on them.
“’Ere we go!”, Kelburn yelled as the three of them started running up the mountain pass to meet their new foes. The Ironfaar trio went into battle, determined to do their part to help carve a new dwarven home out of the mountain side.

The King Dovkin Battlehammer has issued a call, and dwarven scouts flood in bearing information about the nearby surroundings. Engineers work tirelessly on their artillery, heavy infantry is performing drills of dicipline and old men smoke pipes and murmur of what is to come while watching the preparations. The dwarves are finally moving on the offensive, about to thrust deep into the troll claw hills.

A squad of stouts has been seen leaving Baldur's Gate and heading to fields of dead. The squad moved forward at slow pace and was lead by a fat dwarf in robes and cone hat.
Flaming fist guard who was on duty when group left Baldur's Gate heard them speaking of possible trade route to Baldur's Gate.

Building operations have begun in the Troll Claw Hills, so far the dwarves have dug out an area in which the miners toil, but the area is clear. Many scouting parties have been sent out, and task groups have been assigned to gather information about trade routes, protect the civilians, establish an outpost, finding water and food as well as many military activities.

The dwarves have pulled back from the surrounding lands. No patrols are seen, and the construction of outlying watchtowers have been abandoned. Word has gone out that they've withdrawn underground to fortitfy their position, but that is not all.
Heavy machinery has been spotted, and quite a few tents have been erected outside the mountain as well as numerous campfires. It seems the dwarves are set on marching south sometime very soon, with quite a military force. Doron Amar is rumoured to be their destination, but some also speak of the old Ironfaar ruins.
