Template For Character Creation Reward:
First Name: Avegandor
Last Name: Weavewhisperer (translated to common)
Appearance:
Race: Sun Elf
Age: 143
Height 178 cm (5'9'')
Weight: 57 kg (no clue in imperial measurements)
Eyes: Green
Hair: White with dark brown highlights
Facial Hair Style: none
Personality Profile:
General Health: Fair
Deity: for DM reference only via PM
Initial Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Profession: Journeyman Mage (he started off from level 8 via RCR), researcher
Base Class & Proposed Development: Wizard - Enchanter (currently), Archmage, perhaps Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep but not for certain, as he's not the type to dibble on how magic works, rather than how to use it.
Habits/Hobbies: Loves novelties on Enchantment and Divination as well as researching the drow and the culture of the UnderDark and their current matters
Languages: Elven, Arcane, Abyssal, Infernal, Treant, Draconic (he would have 1-2 underdark languages but the game prohibits him from that, therefore uses spells to address that issue)
Weapon of Choice: Spells. Staff serves as a walking stick
Background: Avegandor comes from a wealthy elven family of Evermeet. At an early stage of his life got admitted to the arcane academy (mostly because of his parent's wealth) where he trained as an apprentice until he promoted to journeyman rank. His passion for learning and ability to use logic made some masters escape his complex questions and logic traps only through experience he still lacks. His free time he spent on further practice of magic, making him a spellcaster prodigy in his early years. As a part of his rebellion as a youth he embraced knowledge on the most hated enemy of the eladrin - the drow. That cost him disowning from his family not to further hurt their prestige, so valuable in their society.
As a well off apprentice he got used to well made and expensive clothes, good wine and stylish accommodation, although he had to leave it all behind at the start of his journey for knowledge and power. His clothes are currently very worn after countless months of traveling, bearing holes in a spot or two. He's made a promise to himself that once he promotes to the rank of a master, he will settle down, build an estate and return to the lavish life he used to live.
Goals:
Short term goals: Start and complete his research to promote to a rank of Master Mage. His chosen subject is the Underdark and he titled his work as is: 'Underdark - the forbidden knowledge for every Darthiiri' and he uses his chosen schools as methods to obtain knowledge. After that's been completed, he will establish an estate where he can further research enchantment and divination as well as engage further in his passion of the underdark.
Long term goals: Become a respected and feared mage with a reputation.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Avegandor tends to intertwine drow language in his normal speak and tends to display behaviors typical to their culture while speaking to others (bowing on greetings etc.)
His arrogance, typical to his subrace, is only displayed when his ideas are being ridiculed or ignorance is being displayed. This often involves him shouting at others and being dismissive to make a point.
Avegandor's methods might be perceived by some as evil. He is headstrong and can be ruthless. He understands others have an opinion that might be more correct than his own, yet should it come from ignorance, he will be displeased.
At some stage he wishes to capture drow prisoners for his arcane research. He does not view all drow the same and understands there might be some good natured stragglers out there (he knows that through his research preparations and through what he learned during his travels). He is willing to befriend, release and perhaps forge alliances with those, who share his ideas on the world. Other's
Avegandor's thoughts on random other schools of magic:
He sticks to ranks and class divisions of his people as it's passed on to him by birth, yet he will ignore any laws he considers an obstacle to his ways.
He likes watching dance and listening music, although himself he's not very good at either.
Current tasks: Settle within Candlekeep and gain access to the library.

Avegandor's thoughts on random other schools of magic:
Illusion is like divination, only for the poor...
Avegandor is neither selfish nor possessive of his knowledge and desires to take on an apprentice for training once in his master rank. He wishes to share his lore and give council to all, who are willing to listen and hold no prejudice to his area of expertise. He sees knowledge without borders and he would gladly serve his council to both Amn and Baldur's Gate, Underdark stragglers and Doron Amar, Red Wizards of Thay, S'shamath's mages or other good aligned mages. It is all dependent on how his input will be used.Evocation is crude, yet sometimes necessary tool to blow one's head off with other means than explaining the practicals of the universe to them. Individuals, that long trained immunity to common sense and wealth of knowledge to perfection...
