Playful and mischievous. She is loyal to her friends and crew but doesn't care much for laws or codes of honor past that. Although she is not above breaking the law when needed she well become very offended if anyone calls her a pirate.

Background:
Gen was born on a ship commanded by her father traveling south along the sword coast. This seemed to be a sign of her future as she was raised by her father's crew as much as her own parents. She became part of the ships crew when she was old enough to tie knots. After she became a young adult the urge to explore and adventure got the better of her. So when the ship she was on stopped in Baldur's Gate she left the only life she had ever known and set off to find her fortune along the Sword Coast.
Goals:
Make enough money to buy her own ship. Become a rich and famous sea captain
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Having been on ships her whole life Gen has had quite a few confrontations with pirates. Gen has good first hand knowledge about the lands along the Sword Coast but knows little about anything further inland. She also does not have a very good working knowledge of creatures she hasn't directly come across and only has tells told by her by the sailors. This causes her for instance to believe that Drow explode when touched by direct sunlight.
