Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

On the server information, Tumble is not listed as a class skill. Last night, I took a level of WOD and was able to take Tumble as a class skill. As I write this, I remember that I have a copy of Kaedrin's in my override from a recent MP session. As an aside, I am going to move it as soon as I get home, as I know that is not allowed. Is this levelling bug due to having kaedrin's in my override, or has there been a change?

Grinningfool fixed that if overrides are turned off on this server. The only overrides that should work are user interface ones. Therefore, overrides in general should have no effect on the game world.

Hmmmm... that is interesting. Maybe there is another explanation. There is no doubt that Tumble was available as a class skill. Originally I thought I had made a mistake about what was what, but when I referenced the server rules again, I confirmed that per this server, tumble should not be a class skill.

By chance, do you have able learner and another class which gives tumble as a class skill?

I do have able learner, but prior to taking my first WoD level, I had only 5 fighter levels and tumble is not a fighter skill, right? Also, tumble was highlighted and IIRC, cross skills are not highlighted on level up, right?

Special effect overrides work too...

Ah, yes they do give the player that perspective. However, they do not override anything passed what the player sees. Furthermore, they should not override most appearances of most custom effects.

Overall, overrides should be harmless to the gameworld server side.

Mrieder, I would only be concerned if you took tumble and did not have to spend the cross class skill points. Maybe someone else can check this out?

Seems that Tumble is indeed a class skill for WoD.

I levelled again last night after I uninstalled Kaedrin. Tumble is a WOD class skill. Makes it that much better.
