Background:
Having grown up in a back water village where the people were left to their own defense, Riceak was brought to learn how to defend himself. After some time he started to use his martial talents to defend others and developed a deep following of Helm as a result. However Riceak wanted to be free to pursue what he saw fit, as a result, he never devoted himself fully to Helm's dogma, he simply is willingly to defend those who cannot defend themselves.

While growing up there was also a hedge wizard just on the outskirts of his village. Having no siblings or children his own age he found himself lending a hand for the old mage by picking ingredients or drying herbs. Although Riceak has no arcane talent, he did become proficient with mixing vials for practical purposes.

Goals
He has no big ambitions, Riceak simply wishes to improve himself through trials and adventure, and become a better person for it.

One of Riceak's biggest fears or concerns is being a burden on his fellow company. He will always charge the line to prove himself, which has gotten in to many situations that have nearly cost him his life.
