* a note is tacked up at the jest, Fai and a runner sent to the newly as of this week exile elfs with said note, written in elven *

" We must honor our fallen comrade and pay proper respects, we shall hold a memorial for our fallen ranger in 7 days. Neutral ground shall be chosen as the site so all kin may come. I am thinking Gullykin would be ideal. I have spoken to a priestess of Sehannie Moonbow who will do the service. Allies of Doron Amar who knew our comrade or wish to pay respect in this dark time are welcome to attend "

Yours truly,

Vanya Erudessa Arfaeniel, Weapon Master Of Doron

/Saturday 29th 2 PM est Is the time I am thinking let me know if this works. Please sign on thread, if another time works best please post input. This is a follow up to an event held last night. Not to be confused with the scout thing in another thread.

Upon hearing of the post at Friendly Arm Inn, Leo sputters angry words inbetween bites of chicken:

"They bury their kin at Gullykin? The nerve! I tell you what, this is nothing more than a dirty political move. Today it's the resting place of one dead elf, tomorrow - those blasted tree-huggers will actually start crawling out from their forest and start claiming the neighbour lands. All in the name of showing proper respect to their brain-dead kin. Just when I begin to think my opinion of them couldn't possible become any worse. I think I lost my appetite."

She thrusts aside the plate and stomps angrily up to her room.

//Heard about it, not read it. Some things were bound to be exaggerated as with most rumours.

Hoihe sighs, reading the note.

"I'd attend but that would make me liable of failing a duty. I should return to my studies and keep to them. Preventing future is better than mourning over the past... pity the living and not the fallen as Master Kifel said." And with that, he writes a few runes on the note.

Those who can read arcane runes can recognise these as draconic and make out the letters as "Ssifisv persvek *martivir*"
Those who actually know the draconic vocabulary will learn it means "Rest in *peace*" with an emphasis on Peace.

//Also.. both of you.. stop trying to play RP police with each other >.<.
Updated picture to fix a typo and also fixed Maritivir to martivir

Herran sees the notice and heads straight off for Doron, to find Vanya.

"If you would allow me ... I would very much wish to honor the fallen ranger with a song ... a song for fallen Heroes." he bows his head in respect "I know I am not elf-kin, but, have on more then one occasion been called elf-friend. I swear to you I shall call upon every ounce of my inner strength to bring naught but honor in what I sing and shall sing it in the tongue of the fairer race ... and as near as is possible for any human to do .... in tone and emotion as well"

He bows deeply and does not again stand until he hears the reply, which he accepts graciously no matter the answer.

Amarven reads the note and remembers that Vanya told her about it, hopefull she will not forget it again. Sometimes there is pretty much she has to do, many many duties and everyone needs aid. . .

/// lack of acknowledged interest is never a good excuse to cancel anything ... there are often a lot of people who will attend if possible, but are afraid to acknowledge because they do not want to disappoint if they do not make it.

anyways .. Herran will be there if at all possible ... up to you if there will be anything to attend ;)
