She thrusts aside the plate and stomps angrily up to her room.

Those who can read arcane runes can recognise these as draconic and make out the letters as "Ssifisv persvek *martivir*"
Those who actually know the draconic vocabulary will learn it means "Rest in *peace*" with an emphasis on Peace.

Herran sees the notice and heads straight off for Doron, to find Vanya.

I swear to you I shall call upon every ounce of my inner strength to bring naught but honor in what I sing and shall sing it in the tongue of the fairer race ... and as near as is possible for any human to do .... in tone and emotion as well"

He bows deeply and does not again stand until he hears the reply, which he accepts graciously no matter the answer.

Amarven reads the note and remembers that Vanya told her about it, hopefull she will not forget it again. Sometimes there is pretty much she has to do, many many duties and everyone needs aid. . .
