A tomb robbery failed.

The death of Lord Lateralus, magi of the thayan enclave, went about almost unknown until a group of greedy tomb robbers stumbled across his sarcophagus. Their eyes widen as they glaze upon the engravings and jewels overlaying it. Unable to read the writing, they knew there must be something of value with the body inside. Prepared for anything, they begain to pry and push on the lid. Before much effort was used, the lid slid off, crashing into a few pieces on the cold ground. Their hearts all sunk as they start to stand from falling with the lid, for they new with the seal already broken, that someone already for this chance at wealth. Thinking that they could at least sell the body for some coins,they remove the wood lid that remained. Looking inside the first man frowns, for nothing but a few maggots and blood stains lined the inside. Kicking the gnawed leftovers of a halflings foot and cursing his partners for a fail mission, he demands they buy him a drink as they leave.
