Background: The idea with this character is that he is just a farm boy who has had to become an adventurer. He would rather be on the farm than slaying monsters.

Gino Calderon son of prosperous farmer and winemaker Gard Calderon.
Born and raised on the Calderon family farm on the outskirts of Shadowdale.
That all changed the night of Marpenoth 2 1348.
As the third son Gino was never going to inherit the family farm. Gino was never the smartest son or the most charming that was left to his older brothers Gard jr and Gart.
What Gino was good at was working hard and he had an almost magical touch with plants. Gino's brothers did not see this as a virtue rather a flaw that they could use to bully him into doing their chores. When his brothers taunts and beatings got too much Gino found solace in growing and tending a small garden next to his mothers grave. Gino talents with these plants were so great that it drew the attention of the local Priest of Chauntea.
On his 14 birthday Gino join the local Temple as a Vicar in training.
As he grew into a young man of the cloth Gino also grew physically by 16 he was well over 6 ft and hard labour in the fields and training grounds had made him exceptional strong and fit.

Gino's 18th birthday was an opportunity to go home to the farm and see his family. Gino's little sister June had grown so much he almost didn't recognise her from the girl of 10 when he left home. At 14 June was showing much the same skills with plants, carrying on Gino's garden at their mother graveside. Gino noted her skills to bring to the attention of his Padre.

On the Marpenoth 2 that same year Gino returned home to tell June she was to be inducted into the temple the next equinox. So excited was Gard he called in all the workers from the fields and began an impromptu feast to celebrate. Jealous of their younger siblings successes Gard jr and Gart decided to teach them a lesson. They destroyed the flower beds and grape vines surrounding the graveside. When June saw what they had done she ran to Gino.
Gino found them laughing and drinking in the barn a rage overcame him he step forward and hit Gard jr with a tremendous straight right that knocked of his feet and into the feed trough. Gart tried to tackle him to the ground but was met with a step up knee to the head that knocked him down. Gino went to fish Gard jr from the trough only to find him unmoving neck snapped his life was ended.
When June saw her elder brother dead at his hands she screamed and fled back to the farmhouse. Gino went to his father to explain what had happened but Gart had recovered and called him a murderer and left to get the local Law man.
Gard forgave him understanding what happened but said June was gone she had taken some belongings and had run off in the confusion.
He charged Gino with returning June to the farm.

Now a wanted man in the Dalelands Gino changed his name to Vino Fryar and began his hunt.

3 years of following bad information and dead ends Vino has arrived in Baldurs Gate tired and with only a few gold coins to his name he has almost nothing except a tip that a young Druid called June with incredible skill with plants had been plying her trade in the area.
Goals: Find his sister, raise enough funds to start his own farm.
