The bandits were stirring now. She had been watching them for days. Between the spiders (shudders at the thought of them) and the wolves it had not been easy to stay hidden from sight. Their numbers were not too great she surmised and so having purchased a few potions to help cure herself when needed she waited till they should be taking the evening meal ...
There were two on patrol and she quickly dispatched them with two well placed arrows and slid quietly up to the cave entrance and peered in...none in sight she quickly ducked in and began to explore the labyrinth.

Elad's reward was beckoning and she needed a better bow. The reward would help though it was not enough. It was quickly done and the thieves might return to the cave. But it would not be these foul rogues for they were now standing before Myrkul and awaiting their fate. Several bags of stolen loot over her shoulder she headed once more to Baldur's Gate.

Re: A red headed elf
The well was deep and dank. The slime clung to the walls and it did smell bad but not like the smell of the sewers. (And Clyde was mistaken she had not seen a single rat but that was another story.) The light was faint here and there were no torches. Just the pale luminesce granted from the lichens and the fungi growing along the walls.
Pools of water still and dark were along the way. Sellacha moved slowly along the walls twisting and turning. Winding her way until she was all but lost. At one point she was attacked by a pair of grey jellys. These were the stuff of nightmares she fought nigh unto an hour pummeling with the mace and drinking potions she had bought and clinging to life. Finally she stood alone, gasping for air and looking at the mangled mess before. She resolved to go no further and followed her footprints back to the light of day.
"Perhaps some companions would make for safer journeys" Then she remembered her journey to Beregost and the days that were lost to her memory. The pair who had accompanied her along the way. Waking bedraggled, severely wounded and barely alive.
Her jaw set in a thin hard line where before always there had been a lively smile. "Choose them well" she said to no one.

Re: A red headed elf
"This place has a heavy mist that blocks out Selune's light. I will wait for daylight" and with that she went back to the farmlands. When day came she went again to the graveyard and in the light of the sun she laid to rest all the restless bones. She explored the cave and found the mage in the little building that was not a complete ruin.
"Yes I need more bones" said the mage and she traded him what she had. Oddly she was attacked while leaving the graveyard. More restless bones. "brains" one cried unto her. as if it wanted to eat hers!! It would have been amusing if it were not so macabre. "If you had one I'd bash them in!!" she cried. and with the a blow from her mace it fell in scattered pieces.
It was about this time another came Selinde she called herself and they joined together fighting the tide of undead until all was still. they shared a short respite and were joined by a hunter who called himself Kyx ((sorry if I got that name wrong)) she held a lantern close to him and she and Selinde agreed that he did seem trustworthy and allowed him to join them.
Waves upon waves of the foul undead came at them. During lulls they would collect the bones and somtimes a rusty iron weapon or two. She found a potion bottle and a scroll and hastily stuck them away. When they were exhausted she took the bones to the mage and traded them for gold. "I wonder ...if his 'experiments' are not responsible for this." she said to herself and vowed to sell him no more. they left and went their separate ways.
------------------------------------------------------
"But this scroll will heal the wounds of ALL your companions" Sellacha whined unto the merchant "60 gold is a paltry sum for this scroll"
A woman who had been eyeing the wares on the shelf looked over, "May I see it?" she asked. Sellacha showed her the scroll and she offered twice what the merchant would pay. She took the gold knowing she would not soon do better and then traded the potion for some arrows as well. With enough gold now to purchase the boots she haggled with Matz and then finally gave in and paid the asking price. Disgruntled a bit but at least knowing her feet would be more comfortable and better equipped to dodge the stumps and rocks that lay ahead she left the store and headed for some much needed rest and a meal.
