Well, I am kind of trying to retexture the Dire Bear model to resemble a direbear...

Any comments?

Regarding the issue of the beak, the most notable difference to it will be present in side profile of the owl bear. Which of these would look best?

As for the colour schemes for the owl bear, throw suggestions. I am in a position where several different "theme" colours can be chosen and switched just by adjusting the hue and saturation on the texture itself.

I've been thinking on creating a "grey owlbear." Would you rather prefer brown, perhaps green?

That is what the head looks like with the new model. I am going to see some additional work with the textures, such as turning it to 'grey' so that it can be better tinted. Currently, the colours of the texture are rather reddish as you can see.

Just some current update on how it looks.

There are some tinting issues though.

That is an attempt at least, but I have no idea why the head doesn't tint. It is not nearly as good as the owlbear... partly because on the bug bear model the texture was diveded into the bugbear cloth... :/

Edit: Oh, it seems to tint properly when you set the colours through properties.

Tint Armor 1 for the fur.
Tint Skin for the face, fingers, and toes.

Anyhow, if anyone is interested in it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pjf2l6gu98hor ... earman.rar

I suppose that by default this thing is very grey.

And I might give another try on the... fur texture. the curly hairs could be smaller I suppose.
