Background: Norik was an orphan growing up. His parents were dead for all he knew. He does not care much for what has happened to them. He believes he was abandoned and that is all that matters to him. This has taught him to rely on no one but himself. The only one who has ever showed him anything is The Maiden of Pain (Loviatar) which he believes to be her faithful servant. Norik spent his time growing up in the roaringshore around all types of villains. It has taught him to keep a blade at his side at all times and sleep with one eye open. Norik is comfortable around the sea but deep down it reminds him of all the tough times growing up. He looks at the sea as a path to freedom that he was never able to take. When he turned 20 he left roaringshore to explore and hone his skills on more then mere pirates and bandits. For the past 11 years he has been throughout the western heartlands doing work here and there while sending souls to the other side to please his goddess of pain.

Goals: To further his research in the arts of necromancy. Norik strives to test himself with violence. Wishes to further his knowledge in the divine arts by serving The Maiden Of Pain (Loviatar).

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: He has heard of some "organizations" that specialize in killing and other forms of evil. Norik has had this goal to someday learn enough about Necromancy so he can summon vampires to assist him in wrecking havoc on the innocent.
