Aron Times sends a series of letters to the Dukes of Baldur's Gate, the proprietors of the Friendly Arm Inn, the Mayor of Beregost, and the Mayor of Nashville, er... Nashkel.
"Dear Grand Dukes of Baldur's Gate,
My name is Aron Times, an adventurer sorcerer from the north. I am in the process of setting up a teleportation taxi service and I would like to inquire about your rules for such magic in your beautiful city. Can I Teleport my clients directly into the city? Or perhaps just outside the East Gate or the Wyrm's Crossing? What taxes would I have to pay to run such a business?
I can take four people with me at a time, coasting 850 gold coins worth of spell components. I would charge 1200 gold for a trip, divided evenly among the passengers, or 300 gold per passenger, one way. For frequent clients, I will charge 1000 gold, or 250 per client. The markup represents the time and effort required to master the necessary spells.
What do you think? Is this an acceptable proposal?
Thank you for your time.
Aron Times
Room 3-5, Friendly Arm Inn"
This letter done, Aron begins writing the second one, addressed to the Mayor of Beregost.

Re: Aron Times Inquiries on Starting a Teleport Taxi Service
Aron gets up from his writing desk in his room on the third floor of the Friendly Arm Inn and goes downstairs to have a chat with the innkeeper, Bentley Mirrorshade. The young sorcerer plans on having one of his teleportation runes attuned to the Friendly Arm Inn, and he had some questions for the owner before casting a single spell related to his taxi service.
Aron takes a seat at the bar, then tries to put on a charming face. No, that wouldn't work. It would just make him look shady. With this in mind, Aron puts on a professional look, or at least, a look he associates with being professional. A neutral expression. "Good afternoon, Bentley. I was wondering if I could include your fine establishment as part of a teleport service..."
Aron explains his pricing scheme to the well-traveled gnome, and how he would benefit by bringing clients to the inn. Aron asks if he can teleport people directly within the walls, or somewhere close to the gates but away from oncoming traffic for safety reasons.
"It'll be fun! What do you think, sir?"

And finally, the letter to Nashkel... Aron writes it at the bar while waiting for Bentley to reply. Multitasking.
"Dear Mayor of Nashkel,
My name is Aron Times, an adventurer sorcerer from the north. I am in the process of setting up a teleportation taxi service and I would like to inquire about your rules for such magic in your idyllic city. Can I Teleport my clients directly into town? Or perhaps just outside the gates, away from the path of travelers and wagons for safety reasons?
