***Note: This is going to be a rebuild of my original Character, Elohir Ara'dhel. Nothing has changed with his history and he is for all intents and purposes still the same character. He just has to level back up to 30.***

~Im still "fleshing out" some of the details, to be added soon.

First Name: Elohir
Last Name: Ara'dhel

Appearance: Slightly tall for a wood elf, Elohir is not as thin as most elves, though he is by no means as big as an average size man. Hard to explain this, so just look at him in game.
Race: Wood Elf
Age: 140
Height: 5' 4"
Weight: 140lbs
Eyes: Green, but Elohir calls it Forest Green
Hair: Burnt Blonde-ish
Facial Hair Style: N/A

Personality Profile: In his younger years, Elohir was a bit standoffish and more boisterous, and it fit his alignment at the time quite well (Chaotic Good). As the years have passed, his demeanor has calmed and he has matured. He speaks when necessary, but listens intently to all that is going on around him. He does love a good smoke of pipe weed from time to time and a drink with old friends (he may be a ranger, but he still enjoys the company of good friends).

General Health: Elohir is in excellent health considering the many years of his chosen profession. He has no identifying marks or scars that are visible.

Deity: Mielikki, Our Lady of the Forest, The Supreme Ranger

Initial Alignment: Neutral Good, though when i first created him several years ago, he was chaotic good. Through the years, his alignment has become more in favor of his chosen deity.

Profession: Pure Class Ranger build

Base Class & Proposed Development: Elohir is a ranger in its purist form.
Habits/Hobbies: As a ranger, Elohir fancies all that is nature. His love of nature and serving as a ranger are his greatest obsessions outside of serving Mielikki. His chosen weapon is the longbow, Mielikki's Hawk, given to him by Mielikki at the same time she awarded him the title of "Hawk of the Lady". Elohir's greatest friend in all of Faerun is Kiowa, his loyal and bestest friend forever (Wolf companion).
Languages: He speaks a few languages, the obvious ones are Sylvan and Common.
Weapon of Choice: Elohir's personal Longbow, Mielikki's Hawk, given to him by the Avatar of Mielikki, upon attaining the title, "Hawk of the Lady".

Background: (Read more background info below); Elohir has been in the Baldur's Gate for many years. Upon arriving in the Gate area, he met another ranger by the name of Daelthrien Silverleaf. Unknowing to Elohir, Daelthrien would change his life for ever. Daelthrien introduced Elohir to the Keepers of the Elder Circle, and through many months of trials, was finally accepted as one of the Rangers of Mielikki that served the Circle. Spending many years with the Keepers, Elohir moved up the ranks of responsibility, taking first the Guardian of the Keepers. As the Guardian, it was Elohir's responsibility to conduct scouting patrols within the forests and to be the eyes and ears for the Keepers. He held that position for some time until Daelthrien decided to step down as the Warden of the Keepers. His title passed to Elohir, and he led the Rangers of the Keepers for many moons. It was the passing of his brother, Faerynn Ara'dhel, that led Elohir to pass the title of Warden on and return back to the Falls of Tumbling Stars where he spent many years growing up. Years passed and Elohir has returned to Baldurs Gate. The Keepers of the Elder Circle have changed their name to the Enclave of the Green Triad, and is now simply call the Elder Circle. As well, the Elder Circle has new leadership, capable leadership that have built a new Grove and has brought prosperity to the forests they serve and protect. (All other background information can be found below).

Goals: (OOC Goals) After Elohir left the Gate area and gave up the Warden position with the Elder Circle, he was level 30. That is no small feat. I have recreated Elohir from scratch with the intent to rebuild him to level 30. His build will be almost identical to the original with only minor changes made primarily cause i made a couple mistakes on the first build.
Goals: (IC Goals) It is not Elohirs intent to lead the Elder Circle or take any leadership positions. His goals are to serve Mielikki with all that he has, and to serve the Elder Circle as a ranger of Mielikki. If the Elder Circle needs leadership at any given time, then Elohir will provide that leadership and guidance. He will give advice and counsel when asked or required.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: (Working)

Elohir was born in the High Forest, the first son to Anilyssa and Elhirymaar. Anilyssa was a Druidess, servant of Silvanus and keeper of her grove while Elhirymaar was a protector of the forest, a Ranger who served both Silvanus and Mielikki. He and his younger brother, Faerynn, grew up in the care and instruction of their parents raising them as Ranger and Druid.

On one calm night the village of Wood elves was attacked suddenly, taking the inhabitants by surprise while they slept. The attackers were orcs from an unknown tribe. It does not matter what tribe they were from, only that their intentions were, in the most cruel way, to brutally slay all elves. But not everyone was surprised by the attack. The orcs had been watched by a reclusive group of druids and rangers, a group not afraid to use deadly force to protect their forest. An enclave of Shadow Druids had been following the orcs and now were the only line of defense against this onslaught. Most of the villagers were killed, but some survived. The Shadows Druids made no gesture for recompense and needed no thanks. Their delight was in the destruction of the orcs. Most of the villagers fled to nearby villages of elves. With the death of their parents, Elohir and Faerynn were alone.

Elohir left the High Forest with a small company of wood elf rangers, and made their way to the Falls of Tumbling Stars, west of Lake Sember. The locale is a hidden mountain valley where the Immerflow springs out of the Thunder Peaks and falls down the mountainsides to feed the river leading to the Wyvernwater. In this little-known valley, guarded against intrusion by rangers and half-elf archers of deadly skill, Hawk of the Lady Neretheen Jalassan, a priestess of Mielikki, and Hawk of the Lady Lord Ranger Beldryn Stormstone lead a small community of powerful rangers and other Walkers of the Forest Way in worship of the Lady of the Forest. It is here that Elohir gained most of his training as a ranger of Mielikki. Elohir remained here for many moons helping to protect this holiest of places, serving Mielikki and the Hawks of the Lady.

One night, after speaking with Hawk of the Lady Lord Ranger Beldryn, Elohir decided that his time had come to leave the Falls, and to go out and aid the Forest Queen in other ways. Hawk of the Lady Lord Ranger Beldryn wished him safe travels and extended an invitation for him to return once he had finished his quest. Elohir said his goodbyes to all of his good friends and fellow rangers, and set out towards the sword coast. He had heard of a Circle of druids and rangers there and would seek them out when he arrived.

Many days and nights of travel, Elohir reached the city of Baldur’s Gate. There he met Daelthrien Silverleaf, the Warden to the Rangers of Mielikki, guardians for the Keepers of the Elder Circle. After many trials with the Warden Daelthrien and Galad Faromil, Elohir was accepted into the Keepers of the Elder Circle.

Now, many moons later, Elohir is relentlessly guarding the forests of Mielikki and protecting the animals who dwell there. He follows her faith with passion, conducting periods of meditation and introspection to many who follow her path. He leads the rituals of the Four Feasts, partakes in the rituals of Greengrass and Midsummer Night, and at least once a month he performs the song of the trees.

1374 DR

Elohir finds himself deep within the cloakwood often, seeking solitude. Deep within his own mind, he secretly is searching for the Warden, Daelthrien Silverleaf. It has been many moons since his last encounter with the Warden.

He is glad that his brother has made his way to the Keepers and become a member, a brother within the family. He shall be a powerful asset to Keeper Galen'ael.

On several occasions recently, Elohir has traveled with Pathfinder Isenduil, together just talking and keeping each other company as they make their way through the forests. Sometimes the weight of the silence of loneliness can start to come down on even the most faithful of followers. Good company is often the cure to many ailments.

Aside from aiding the traveler along the tradeway or through the cloakwood, things have begun to quite down a bit in the forests. Not long ago, there were several evils waning down on the Keepers, with some of this evil directed at the druids specifically. And with many of the Keepers absent from the forests, the evil spread outside the keepers and began to attack anyone who crossed their paths.

And now, Elohir, makes his way to the Cloakwood forest, to the grove of the Keepers to speak with Keeper Galen'ael. Galen has done much for the Keepers recently, and now the ranks of the Keepers begins to grow again. With Keeper Galen'ael at their head, Protector Steward Faerynn and Phelan at his side, the Keepers shall grow again. For the Rangers of Mielikki, there is I, and there is Isenduil Eriadon. Together, we hold the Rangers of Mielikki together until the Warden returns. But it is not only the Warden that we wait for. It is the Guardian, Galad Faromil who has been missing the longest, with no word of his whereabouts or his projected return. And the Eagle Eye, Raymond Hyvarinen, who hasn't been gone that long, we hope shall return soon to aid us and the Keepers, as he is the primary protector of the lands.

There are many who have shown interest in joining the Rangers of Mielikki, and I shall find them and bring them in to our family. It is the will of Our Lady that drives me, and I shall do all that I can to serve her, and to serve the Rangers of Mielikki and the Keepers of the Elder Circle.

New Entry
I have left the Baldur's Gate area to travel to the Falls of Tumbling Stars. It is a journey I was asked to make, for when I arrive, I shall participate in a pilgrimage that will lead myself and a few others to the Unicorn Run. It is said that there is a gate to Mielikki's realm there and along the way, we will work Mielikki's will as we cross the lands. I shall not be gone for more than a year, and then I shall return to my home at Baldur's Gate and to the Rangers of Mielikki.

On his journey to the Falls, Elohir sits by a campfire and prepares to write in his journal. It has been a long while since his last entry and he feels it is time to update it. As he writes, he thinks back on all the moments in his past and it comes alive on the parchment.

Journal Entry
'Since my last entry, much has happened. I have assumed the position of Guardian within the Keepers. Since gaining that position, many have joined the ranks of the Rangers of Mielikki; Aloria ap Ravan, Fircair Miruvor and Toshiro. And there are still more that have yet taken the trials. Galen'ael has assumed the position of Arch-Druid and Tarsakh has left the Keepers to become the Great Druid. My brother Faerynn has moved up quite rapidly and is now the Keeper. I have also assumed the Steward position as the Warden. It seems as if Daelthrien Silverleaf may never return. His whereabouts are unknown to anyone, including the Great Druid, Tarsakh. Perhaps one day, the founding Ranger will return. But until then, I shall lead the Rangers of Mielikki the best that I can.'

Journal Entry
'I am on my way to the Falls of Tumbling Stars. It is a long journey, but one I have been asked to make by Hawk of the Lady Lord Ranger Beldryn Stormstone. Once I arrive, i will be given a period of rest, and then we are to make another journey to the Unicorn Run within the High Forest. It is there that a gateway to the realm of Our Lady of the Forest exists. I do not know if I will get to see the splendor of her realm, but it is a priveledge that I have even been asked to join the journey. I only know of a few that will be going, Hawk of the Lady Nethereen Jalassan, Hawk of the Lady Lord Ranger Beldryn, myself and a few others whom I do not know. I shall not return to the Gate for sometime, though I already miss my brothers and sisters within the Rangers and the Keepers, especially Faerynn. He only just arrived a year before I had to leave. I shall return, and with stories that I will tell them all.'

Every fire lit by a member of Mielikki's clergy must have the Dread Prayer whispered over it. Such fires glow only dimly, so as to attract as little attention as possible, and do not spread.

The Cloak is simply a spider silk cloak, woven by dryads for Rangers of Mielikki. Usually dyed with a green dye, I opted for the natural silk colored cloak.
