The alcohol smelling, weathered messenger arrives to Friendly Arms Inn and finds James White personaly. This man dressed in black and red clothes tries to offer a common signed letter. He speaks with raspy low voice: "The Captain sends his regards, Sir." The word sir comes out like forced. The sailor takes few steps back and stays around; Like waiting that James gives somesort mark or responce to the letter.

It has been long since we talked face to face; Too long. No matter. This work offering of yours seems too good to put aside. Me and my men are interesting about the work of "Mercenaries" as you wrote so neatly. My men are proven their skills again and again. Last time in Amn-Gate war. My men do as they are told as long as we get paid, it is that simple. No questions asked if the situtation demands that.

Also I should add that having me and my reputation on your side certain trade routes and possiblites could be opened easily. I belive that you and your company would rather have me and my men at your side than against you.

After some sighing and muttering at melodramatic sailors, James returns with a letter reply which he hands to the waiting disgruntled messenger along with a bottle of rum from FAI's tavern.
