Weapon of Choice: Staff, crossbow or longsword - all depending on the predicament.

Background: Raised in the outskirts of Harrowdale Town in the Dalelands on a small farm. Mother was Chondathan and father Illuskan. Farstryn never took to farming and felt that his future lay not in the tending of beasts and crops.
Every tenday, his father took Farstryn to the market in Harrowdale Town. Both to sell produce and purchase supplies needed on the farm. It was on these regular trips that Farstryn was taken to The House of Mystra. Being the only interaction with any form of worship, Farstryn came to see himself as a follower of The Mother of All Magic.
Farstryn inherited his father's old spellbook after he passed, also learning that he once lived as an adventurer all along the Sword Coast. Grief-stricken with the loss of his father, Farstryn decided to board one of the many merchant ships that sailed out of Harrowdale Town, making his way to the Sword Coast in hopes of re-connecting with his late father's past.

Goals:
- Learn about the lore of the realms.
- Learn the art of magic, as his father had. Perhaps under a tutor if he finds someone willing to accept him as a student.

- his father was an adventurer on the Sword Coast in his youth.
- is oblivious to much of the world beyond the farmstead in Harrowdale and the life in Harrowdale Town.
- recently arrived in Baldur's Gate and feels a bit lost.
- know as "Far" by friends and family.
