Background: Rhiannon is the daughter of a love filled marriage between a Human Bard, Silas Martin, and an Elven Fighter, Bellauria Le'Lorial. Her upbringing was a fairly happy one, learning her music from her father and swordplay from her mother. They owned an inn in one of the smaller villages. Her parents had always called her a miracle because they had been trying for years, but had never been able to create a child. Silas was already in his mid-40's and starting to go grey when Rhiannon came in to the world. She was constantly at her father's side learning music and lore from across the realms. This went on until Rhiannon's 16th year. Her father, who was 61 by this time passed away quietly in his sleep. The loss hurt Rhiannon, but seemed to devistate Rhiannon's mother. Her mother started to pull away from Rhiannon, she never said why, but Rhiannon always suspected it was because of her short lifespan and the fact that one day Rhiannon too would grow old and die. This continued for 5 years before her mother decided that she would join the elves in Evermeet. Rhiannon decided that this would be when she too would set off to see the world. The life of an Innkeeper did not suit her and she felt that she would stagate if she tarried longer. She and her mother sold the Inn and went their seperate ways, tearfully, if half-heartedly. Rhiannon travelled for a while before finally ending up in Baldur's Gate hearing the stories of Adventure and Treasure in the area.

Goals: Discovering Ancient Tales and Music. Also she has a secret (even to her) goal to become pure elf or find some other way to remain young and reconcile with her mother.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: She has a pendant of Eilistraee around her neck. A present from her mother from before they became estranged. She is very protective of it. She is seeking out Ancient Lore and especially Music as a way of honoring her father. Secretly she would like to find a way to purge her human side and become full elf, she does not resent her human half, but secretly feels it is the only way to reconcile with her mother. Failing that she would like to find a path to youth and immortality.
