Numerous posters can be found throughout the Baldur's Gate and its nearby vicinity. Several of them even make their way to the Friendly Arms Inn. Anyone curious enough to read one of them would see the following message, carefully written with an elegant cursive:

"Dear friends, it is to my greatest joy that I inform you that this month, a lottery shall be held in the fair city of Baldur's Gate. This month's lucky numbers are: 7, 10, 28, 35, 42, 57, 64, 73, 89 and 96! Pull any of these numbers from my big hat and win a fortune! Join the celebration of the bold and brave and pay your respects to Our Smiling Lady! Free beverages! Seek me out in the Temple of Lady Luck in the Palace District. All profits from the lottery shall be given to the Temple of Tymora.

Faithfully Yours, Catherine Haphet."

//OOC information for the players: Lucky Hours are from 14:00 to 17:00 UTC every day until each of the above ten numbers is pulled by the players. The cost of the try is 500 golden pieces (No more than 3 tries for one character per day, you daring gamblers, you!) and the prize for anyone who pulls out one of this month's lucky numbers shall receive a prize of 20 thousands golden pieces. This is the first of (hopefully!) many lotteries to honor the kindness and compassion of the Lady Luck who gives her blessing to all adventuring souls. This month's theme is money. //

// I like the idea of a lottery. How is it coming along?

//People don't seem as interested as I thought. Not a single gambler. Perhaps it is bad time.

((The idea is really cool, but I'm willing to bet that the reason nobody has done it yet is the location. The prize would need to be bigger for a lot of players to take time out of their normal RP to go do that. Move it to the friendly arm inn and I guarantee you'll get some people to do it while still being able to keep the winnings at 20 bags.

/// It has been done before, actually. Twice even.
