Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

The wheel of the year e'er turns, and spring equinox is soon coming to the lands of the Sword Coast, as a portent of the slowly receding winter, and the coming of warmer and lighter days.

This holy day is celebrated among many faiths, cults and beliefs of Faerûn, no least the Aurilites, who are known to gather in crowds on the spring equinox for their festival called The Last Storm, where they unleash howling ice storms with all the cold magic their can muster, to mark winter's releasing grip of the lands.

Word spreads that Irini Valkyrian, the High Hand of Ice of the temple of Auril near Nashkel, has called the faithful together for this festival, and has invited the people of Amn and the broader Sword Coast to participate in the festivities as well.

Leaflets and pamphlets are put up near the usual meeting places of Nashkel, Beregost, the Friendly Arm Inn, Baldur's Gate, Soubar and Roaringshore. They read as follow:

"To the people of the Sword Coast,
I, Irini Valkyrian, High Hand of Ice, call you all to celebrate the Last Storm with us.
Whether you are one of the faithful of Auril, or merely looking to share this festival with us, I bid you to make your way to the temple of Auril near Nashkel on the spring equinox. From there we will make our way to the foothills of the Cloud Peaks, where the ceremony is to take place. Come and celebrate the waning of winter with us, but know that if you merely come to mock our belief or traditions, you will be turned away from our festival. This is a time to revel in the beauty of the last grip of winter, not a time for bickering and conflict."

The Hellstorm Crew's fanatics will be there if the fate allows it.

*Varia knows all too well that the event is coming and has been looking forward to the whole ordeal. She decides to remain within the Temple of Auril, praising the goddesses name until the start of the event.*

Zorn: Azmodeth did make it to the event, though he crashed out of the game shortly afterwards. I'm afraid the time slot wasn't very asian friendly, blame it on all the americans =p Look forward to the Coming Storm in the fall, you'll be there instead!

Hoihe: Yes, there was a dragon, but I doubt Hoihe would have felt very much at home in that gathering of scoundrels, ne'er do well'ers and sinister personages!

Lock: That was indeed the white dragon that usually slumbers away at Mount Speartop! And it already has a draconic name, but for the life of me I cannot pronounce or recall it!
