Background:
William was born to a merchant of some success and was raised on the move. On one such travel his parents were robbed and killed, leaving William near death. He was saved by a travelling swordsman (Christian Windstorm) who taught him his ways and sent him off on his way. Young and alone William will now try to climb the social rank to become a man of prestige and make his father proud.

Goals:
Belong to or found a tight nit guild of adventuring comrades. Become an acknowledged swordsman. Own some land or a boat. gain a title that holds some prestige. Retire with a wife and son.
