Background: Zoey has been raised by a lonely and political influent wizard by the name of Daegar Elenesse, located in Westgate and devoted to Mystra. Daegar adopted Zoey while she was still a newborn, looking for a promising apprentice. When he did realize that, even if talented, there weren't an actual wish to learn wizardry in the young child, Daegar took with him a young aasimar lass who was in the need of a home too: Dahlia. He raised the two planar girls as one the step-sister of the other, giving them love and a well round education.
Sure thing, Daegar always showed little interest in marriage and used to believe that planetoucheds often make the best apprentices.

Mistaking Zoey's talent for the gift of sorcery, at the beginning, Daegar invited to his place another wizard expert of outsider beings, asking him to study Zoey's case to learn more about her heritage and her power. She was 11 years old.

"I am impressed, Daegar. Truly impressed…", asserted the planar expert.
"What do you think of her, Velverd?" asked Daegar.
"Well… She looks more like a warlock, to me, but of a kind I have never seen so far."
"What do you mean?" asked Daegar.
"She has a very high, innate, amount of magic power. But I believe she has also the possibility to refine it to highest levels of sorcery." asserted Velverd.
"She does not seem really interested to study hard." said Daegar.
"You must find a way to grow her interest into wizardry. It would be such a dramatic waste of a spellcasting prodigy otherwise..." said Velverd turning to the child. Zoey smiled to him while being busy playing with a doll.
Velverd stared at the little white witch and smiled back and stated again, "You, little girl, have a ridiculously high amount of magic power… Why don't you want to master it?".
Zoey smiled happily.

Life went on, and Zoey and Dahlia hit both the age of 18. Dahlia managed to learn enough of wizardry to make her adoptive father happy. At the same time Dahlia, moved by a strong sense of Faith, applied to become a squire of the Order of the Mystic Fire, an ancient group of Knights and Paladins devoted to Mystra located in Waterdeep.
Time to leave home came for Dahlia and life for Zoey changed as well. One day Daegar never returned from one of his travels. Unfortunately, without her aasimar step-sister around, people started looking with suspicious at Zoey whom from the disappearance of her father earned enough wealth and political influence to make a living.
Time by time the situation got worse and worse. Zoey had to leave Westgate while her father's enemies were already planning to caught and kill her to put their hands on the belongings of the family Elenesse. Before doing so, anyway, Zoey burned down her place, the big estate of her adoptive father, with all its hidden secrets. The actual reasons behind this act are known completely only to Zoey, but we can assume that she did it to keep the Elenesse's property safe, while none of the two Elenesse sisters were able to protect it: Zoey being chased by assassins, Dahlia in a quest for the Order of The Mystic Fire.

With just a handful of coins, some valuable gems, a silver mirror and food to keep herself alive for a bunch of days, Zoey started travelling the realms of Faerun, looking for a way to grow her power, earn back her status and, of course, have some fun.

Personal Quote: "Life is no fun without a good scare"
Goals
Since deprived of her political status, get it back
Since deprived of her wealth, collect as much gold as possible
Gather as much informations as possible about her lost bloodline
Keep on increasing her power, awakening all the power hidden in her bloodline
Strike fear into the assassins' heart that forced her to run away from Westgate
Hire a personal and loyal guard
Find Dahlia
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts
Some people might come from Westgate chasing her
Dahlia might show up, revealing more about Zoey's past
Daegar might come back, alive, and something more might be revealed about his past and tasks

Goodies!
(If Zoey was a song)
