Background:
As a musician that enlisted in the Watchblade, Hawthorne was given his first assignment: Entertain the Stone Shields and keep an eye on morale. He took the assignment seriously and completed it well. He gave many concerts and readings at the Firestar Charriot, a popular, loud and rowdy inn in Sundabar. He ran a rather lucrative gambling ring with the soldiers. All in the interest of morale, of course. Quite the card player, he had the guard men at ease and ready if there was another orc attack. He did so well that he was sent to "investigate rumors of orc attacks to the south. Baldur's Gate. Seems there are rumors of orcs…. Find out what you can and report back here. And do it quietly. I don't want the men to think anything is wrong." Having received his orders, he strapped his weapons on, gathered his things and set off, his assignment was clear.
Goals:
Investigate rumors of orc clashes in the Baldur's Gate Area (ongoing)
Meet and get to know adventurers around the area. Often the adventuring community knows much of the area. The will certainly have heard of orc attacks. (ongoing)
Write a book of poetry (ongoing)
