Background:

Grym did not know his parents. His upbringing among a small community of farmers has shaped him into a kind and good natured fellow. The farming community he was raised in was terrorized by a local outlaw group who regularly bribed the local constabulary to turn a blind eye. After an incident involving the bandits and his childhood friend, Grym turned to a local hermit for advice. The hermit offered to awaken a power within him that was lying dormant. In return, the Hermit reserved the right to ask one favour of Grym at a later date, which Grym must agree to do. Grym agreed provided the request did not involve harming the innocent and within the week, he began mastering the power that the hermit had given him. After defeating the bandits, he returned to talk to the hermit but found that the shack he lived in appeared long abandoned. He is now travelling seeking answers to this power he has inherited.

Goals:

See what is over that next hill and find out more about his powers.
