The blue-clad Knight's armor creaked in protest as his quill found it's way skittering across the parchment of the ledger he'd prepared. Alexander was exhausted. His recent efforts to speak with the adventurers and organizations of the Realm allowing him little rest, as he educated the masses of the blight he believes has taken hold of the small village. The man signs his name at the bottom of the page with a flourish, leaving the leatherbound book within the Friendly Arms Inn, for those whom would pass it to read, and sign to pledge support, the writing within was as followed.

"People of the Sword Coast,

I beseech each and every one of you to garner assistance in removing the dread blight of Bane from the homes of the recently besieged village of Triel, for without our support, We allow agents of oppression to obtain a foothold in the North, and permit their poisonous presence to slowly ooze out to influence the Coast as a whole.
We cannot abide this atrocity, and I call any and all whom can into action with the efforts of retaking and rebuilding Triel for the goodly people of the village, and the Realm. This ledger is to provide signatures for those whom would pledge to stop oppression in the North, and fight beside myself and my allies, for the cause of the greater good.

Signed,
Alexander Marshall, Paladin of Torm.

The Knight placed the notice within the Friendly Arms Bar, as well as establishing similar notices in Beregost, Nashkel, and Baldur's Gate, informing them of the issue, and mentioning the ledger within the bar requesting signatures. The paladin oversaw couriers sent to the various organizations of the realm to spread the word as well.

((Organizations that recieved couriers have already been notified by myself personally, IG, or will be notified when I manage to find your leader, or by PM if he/she doesn't seem to be available. No Metagaming was used to provoke this Call to Arms, all information was shared In-game between several people assisting Triel's relief currently, and Alexander Marshall. Use this thread as you wish to encourage more active RP for Triel's relief, and the event I'm hoping will be a blast! Stand up and Change the server indefinitely with good friends, and good RP folks! Questions, comments, or concerns about this issue should be PM'd to me directly through the forums.))

*Valiant Blinncraft establishes his notice at the Friendly Arm Inn, signing proudly, giving a firm nod to others and a hard glare to those he deemed "funny" looking*

*Alison Schlump, known by many as "the Harlequin" strides to the ledger, having heard about it from Alexander himself, and signs it with a flourish. Her writing is bold, with lots of loops and squigglies, and she dots the i in Alison with a heart.*

I shall do what I can! *she announces in the most tepid battlecry ever*

*Eagerly acting on Alison's lead, Amara Calder follows her friend to the signing sheet and signs her own name in a looping, cursive fashion.*

Annabel watches the people sign the ledger, but she herself quietly moves on, after a moment of hesitation and thought.

*Clad in his usual silver armor and purple cloak, Lazarus makes his way to the ledger and pens his name without a word. His script is elegant and simple:*

Sir Lazarus Khross

A note is found near the book, with no signature.

Is this action supported by the leadership of Triel or have the champions of greater good taken Triel in their own hands?

An unarmed man watches the coming and going and gathering of others. He mines them not as he exercise to stay fit of mind and body. Running a lot, he never gets winded. He stops to talk to some of the townfolk, smiling as he looks at one of theirs wares. As he is eyeing an item, his keen eyes notice some of the townfolk gethering and speaking in hush tones around the note. As he continues his running he eyes the note througb the crowd. On it he see's a bloody handprint, as he then runs out of town.

A bearded man clad in a weather-stained blue cloak and traveling hat watches as others affix their names to the ledger at the Friendly Arm Inn. Stroking his beard and thinking carefully for many minutes, he approaches and signs his name, "Kayan Zikaros," in slanted script.

A somewhat random red cloaked person, watching the people come and go and read the note, speaking about her thoughts:

"I hope he has a good plan how to organise a bunch of random adventurers. Many already tried, and many failed. Triel is the best example of this. The sucess of this battle is more a battle of organization. I don't want to gather the bodies of the dead again around Triel. I hope for this Alexander that he is a good enough leader."

A battle scared earth genasi wearing dented fullplate and sporting a fine hat reads up on the notice

''Sounds like the kind of work I'd take up on for the right price, because there IS a payment, right?'' asks Lotrik

A young man with his hair cut in a clerical tonsure and whose cloak bears the symbol of Ilmater steps up and signs the ledger. His handwriting is flowing and precise.

"I, Ameris, Cleric of Ilmater and of the Order of the Radiant Heart, pledge my name to this cause. The Lord on the Rack cannot abide tyranny."

An old cleric clad in plate with the cloak of his god on his back walks up and reads the post. He thinks about it for a while drinking ale in the inn. After a while he walks back and signs with a note.

"Thinks in Beregost have gotten quite bad, so i can not make any promises. But if time permits and i have the ability i will aid as best as i can."

Joseph Keirgan, cleric of Lathander.

A tall and solidly built human of dark complexion and even darker mood pauses by the notice in Beregost for a moment, the sign seems to lift his mood somewhat as a smirk reaches his lips. Pulling a dark hood over his head to ward off the approaching rain and to hinder prying eyes he stares at the names listed intently, for what reason only he would know.

He whispers quietly to himself, "More lambs to the slaughter ... No matter, the Sword Coast has plenty of fools to take their place."

The man walks off silently, without signing his name.
