Background: Olaff was born in Sshamath, and absolutely detests the city.
He became fed up with his lackwit middle-caste family in his mid 30's, and decided to make a name for himself on his own. To this end, he dropped his original family name of Bergo and took upon himself the new name of Eigenstone. This name means to him that he is as the hardest unyielding stone and will not bend to anyone.
He spent his time doing mercenary work in the Underdark, and took whatever opportunities possible to venture forth to the surface. He is, unlike his brethren, more capable in sunlight as a result of the time he spent above.
He has grown to enjoy the thrill of combat, the challenge of meeting a worthy foe in combat.
Goals:Olaff thinks himself superior to others, and is motivated to gain power and authority in both the surface and the Underdark. He may at some point attempt to form his own guild in the future. He is not opposed to betraying and backstabbing enemies and allies alike, so long as these actions remain acceptable within the context of his own personal code (he won't break an oath to betray anyone). He will not break an oath if possible, and he will avoid needless bloodshed where he can. He's not an insane murderer, after all.

- He enjoys challenges of personal combat, whether they are fought honourably or dishonourably.
- Olaff is a greedy, greedy bastard. He has no love for coin or currency, but instead values what the currency can achieve for him.
- He loves mercenary work for the places it will take him, the enemies he will fight, the sights he will see, and of course the payment.
- His megalomania drives him to seek power and opulence. Neither of which he possesses, but that is simply a temporary setback.
- He can probably drink you under the table.
