Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

(( This is tied to the events made by DM Foresight. His events have taken a lot of the primary attention of late, and as an ongoing participant of these, i wished to bring as many of the servers players and guilds, in on the action. This is completely approved by Foresight, and of cause, fully voluntary. ))

Messengers is sendt far and wide along the coast, from the northern settlements, to the southernmost clergy of Auril, and the hidden village of the Arctic Dwarves.

Within it, a letter is presented.

"I hail you, guilds, factions, envoys and leaders.

My name, is Za'than Za'amal... and i bring you tidings of doom.

South, beyond the snow covered peaks, an enemy of all is massing his armies. The Lich, Known as "Bazu", has emerged from his two-thousand years of preparation. He has experimented on the denizens of the realm, he has manipulated locals, and had brought untold harm to any, if not all within his ploys, and his plans.

Over the last four months, this entity, has time and time again, shown his machinations across the coast... Robbing from the dead their bodies, and from the living, their loved ones. He carries the abilities to prevent communication of the divines, and the link between nature and her guardians. His understanding of magic is beyond that of any scholar of Candlekeep, and his intellect is that of a seer of time itself.

This enemy, seeks one thing. Total, and utter dominion, over your realm. And nothing thusfar, has halted, or even dented his plans t'would seem.

I am a Warlock... I once devoted my life, to the unnatrual forces that lie beyound the veil of our world. I've studied dark magic, and participated in cults... and for my transgressions, the man known as Ser Thedran -The Rock-. Ended my life.

I cannot explain how, or why. Yet i did not die... And as if given a second chance, i spendt the next year, within exile. Purging the necromantic arts from myself... and have since then, devoted all i know, and have learned, to defend my home - our home - from the forces that would see it destroyed.

I realize not many will trust a man such as I, and nor should you do so lightly. Yet haunted as i may be of the blood in my veins, and the foul powers that fuel my magic... believe this, when i tell you... Our lands, are on the brink of damnation.

As a Acolyte of Candlekeep, i have followed the Lich Bazu, and his deeds across the coast. I have spoken to the victims of his ploys, and i have firsthand seen his endless legions of nonliving.

... Yet, i cannot let this knowledge lay unheard, nor see the lands, i now call my home, fall to a monster of antiquity.

I therefore call for you all... Guilds, Cleregies, Priesthoods, Mercenaries, Sellswords and Leaders across this land. A unity must be made, if we are to face this monster... and an alliance struck, against one whom will surely win, as long as we stay divided.

I will present you all with an offer. I will give you or your envoys, all the information i know on Bazu, his plans, his deeds, and his powers. And give an offer of alliance after this, so that we may save the coast... before tis lost to us.

At the end, a date is set: SATURDAY THE 5th. 19.00 PM GMT (Servertime, so the ticking clock at top for those also horrible at timezones) - Location: The Puplic Arena/Stage of Baldurs gate Northern Farmlands.
