Appearance: Joseph is usually clad in black armor or a black robe. He stands quite tall and stout for a priest. He has long but kept hair and trimmed beard. He seems quite old with his white hair but carries himself quite well. While around the un believers his cloak is fastened with a pendant to tempus.

Personality Profile: Joseph usually looks to have a grumpy and ruthless face. Though ever so often a glimpse of kindness can show through, but incredibly rare.

Background: Joseph Keirgan lost his parents early on. From an early age showed talent with a blade. He started out his adventurous life as a soldier for hire. Over time he actually joined the clergy of Tempus. He spent the next 20 years going from one battle to the next.
Over time he grew bored and weary with his direction in life. Fighting for others, with no real direction for himself. He just didnt see the point in it any more. It was at this time he was hired by an army that was fighting against the Zhentarim.
During the battle his forces were obliterated and even though he fought well he fell in battle. If were not for his healing he would of died. He thought his life was over. He though finally he would get to rest. But the enemy thought differently.
He was taken to their keep, beaten and battered. A long time went by in captivity and his mind shifted greatly. Eventually he joined the ranks of the clergy. Now he travels to the sword coast cell to offer aid.
Goals: Destroy all those who would oppose the will of the Black Hand. And to drive out the chaotic filth that has festered near the gate.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Joseph Keirgan has fought many battles and is scarred heavily, both on his face and body. His mind has been scarred greatly as well. He has no care or feelings for most people. And things that would make even a grown man puke wouldn't faze him.
