Background: Iend was born to a human merchant in the general area of the High Forest. He knows precious little of his parentage beyond the fact that whomever they were, they're dead. The earliest thing he remembers is being taken in by the church of Ilmater, and being taken on a long journey to distant Damara. In the city of Heliogabalus, he was provided shelter and succor and eventually took the Vows of Ilmater himself.
Goals: He is currently on a long pilgrimage from Damara all the way down to the House of the Broken God, the enormous monastery and hospital to Ilmater in Calimport. He's been waylaid in Baldur's Gate for the moment, but he takes it as a sign that he's meant to do something, there.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts: Iend is filled with hope - hope that his efforts can make a real difference in Faerun. A possible plot hook might involve a challenge to that hope.
