a meditation of spirit

A view of the stars was all she needed to spark contemplation and begin her reverie.
On some occasions she felt she could connect with her spirit in transcendance, in the
cloud of revelation her goddess shined upon the People. Such experiences were the
basis of her guidance to the People.

Amidst the hurried bustle and preparations of the Elven village, in quiet moments she had been thinking a lot of spirits recently. And now in reverie her thoughts were jumbled with reflections of an undead one, a fey born, nature spirits, and the forthcoming journey of her people.

She had met a fey kin. A kin who followed the flight of a butterfly with joy. A
kin who could hear the 'voice of the wind.' A spirit of delight who happily munched
strawberries and grapes and perhaps felt the surfaces of this world in different ways.

Her homecoming required telling the journey of her absence. She had shared her experience willingly, a journey revealed by her goddess to share the company an undead spirit and
dutifully defend a place of antiquity from despoiling. A 'white undead,' the Reverend
One Everahn was not a husk animated by necromancy. He was an a spirit whose personal
choice was to fulfill a duty to his people beyond the norm of his body's shell. That
his spirit was powerful with weave magic was due to her goddess, the elven ceremony Erevahn had offered of himself, and to many centuries touched by magic.

She thought of the kin who had hinted that it's journey to Arvandor was nearing.
Did he believe he was without spirit? Or did he believe his spirit might not ascend
to Arvandor among his people. Could she guide this strong elf?

She thought of a kin who did not know the Seldarine. Raised among man it sought the
quick treasures of the man god Mask. What potential rested in his spirit? Theft,
betrayal, or redemption? Could his spirit Ascend? She would need wisdom and guidance herself to lead this one among the People.

She raised her eyes to the stars and gazing long upon them named a star for each of these kin. She would share them with their namesake she vowed.

But first she would need the Luminous Lady's blessings to help her guide the People.

Her meditation deepened, her thoughts twinkling like the stars.
