Xercia Dantress take 2.

This drow woman in her prime strives to dress elegantly and lavishly. She tries to mirror a noble style, despite not being one. Her posture is straight and proud, clearly showing she thinks herself more than the surrounding filth of a creatures.

Hair: Silvery white, like every drow, takes pride in it and well groomed.

Habits/Hobbies: She is a fanatic drow traditionalist and it surfaces often in conversations. She doesn't bother remembering the names of drow males and other non-drow of both genders, unless she works closely on some scheme together with one.

Weapon of Choice: Rapier resting to her left side. A dagger behind her black cloth belt concealed by the cloak. Oh and magic obviously, scrolls and invocations.
Background:
Xercia was raised by her mother, Darin Dantress, an assassin of the Temple of Lolth in Skullport. Even as a daughter, Xercia knew very little of her mother's errands, but her as a child she asked her mother many questions about who she is and what she does and most importantly - how she does it, though with little success. Darin, a strict mother, wanted Xercia to be the extension of her lineage and as such, spoon feeding Xercia information was the last thing on her mind.
Xercia remained observant, but never observant enough to prevent mother on sneaking up on her. She grew the habits typical of drow culture and embraced them, but she understood patience and avoided recklessness, her race often gave into during combat. Instead she desired to control and manipulate, rather than spring into action with her rather frail build.
At the age of 132, her mother was said to have encountered problems on a surface contract and was taken hostage. This led Xercia to believe her mother was too weak to lead the family and began to scheme how to take over, despite her young age. Afterall she needed to be as good an assassin as her mother was, if not better.
Few days into meditation, she made her way to the Temple of Lolth. Xercia believed it is a proper time to make a move and begin secretly growing in power both to prove a worthy successor and to overtake Darin's role, should she return alive from the surface. And she was willing to pay any price to achieve that.
Pleased by that stance, the Yath introduced her to making a pact with Lolth's helpers in the demonweb pits. The size of the prize, quickly took over Xercia's common sense and she immediately forgot all she had learnt over the years - to mind her environment (the priestesses would obviously benefit in rewards from Lolth over pacting more than Xercia in her pact) and to remain calm and collected to find suitable solutions.
Xercia accepted and became pacted, soon for her supernatural talents to emerge.
Unfortunately for her, Darin did return from the surface and continued to remain in charge of the house for the years to come, whilst Xercia secretly grew her powers hoping the mother would not notice(she did anyway, the temple told her, but Darin joined the game and pretended not to know), but to develop superior powers she needed to leave Skullport and train somewhere else, like Sshamath. And so she did, satisfied that her power and combat training will make her superior to her mother one day.
Xercia's main interest lied in divination and scrying powers, to carefully predict her opponents moves, both in combat and everycycle life. She became gifted with premonition and foresight powers to act as a seer and acts this role for exchange of sacrifices to Lolth at her altar in Sshamath.
During one scrying session she discovered she is not the sole descendant of her mother and also has a half-sister, a former street orphan who names herself Nawiel Jr'eine. Upon investigation, she proved to be no threat, due to her being inferior in beliefs and power. She eyes her closely though as a security measure.
Xercia practices an unorthodox combat style. She prefers a one handed weapon in her right hand and a ready to land invocations using the other one (hideous blow - invocation). The idea is to land a blow, followed by a more lethal correction from her innate powers. Her traditionalism also shows in her handling the weapon, provided there is time for that. She will first salute her opponent by drawing the blade to her face and then to the side to taunt the opponent into believing her guard is down. She relies heavily on footwork, not to become overly fatigued trying to land heavy blows. Often she will try and have the opponent to run out of steam before pressing her blows, toying with them to grow on their frustration.
Goals:
-Become the sole Dantress living by that name and possibly start a noble house
-Civilise Sshamath to drow standards
-Grow in power, but as a grey eminence more than a face of a person in charge
