An open note to the Conclave

Ardulafae makes her way to the bill board and openly posts a note. After a short speech over the contents she move on to spread more fliers in the city.
"Fellow citizens of Sshamath, illustrous Conclave.
Yet again we the people find ourselves threatened by the yoke of the Spider,
Yet again the inactions of the Charnag Maelthra and in extent the Conclave speak volumes.
For years we have struggled to make our beloved city of Dark Weaving into a shining beacon of Art and trade, we have done well and despite the treachery within and the calamities of wars thrust upon us by others we steadily march on under the Conclave's wise guidance into a bright future.
However, ever since the actions of the Spider's Avatar in Varalla's passage we have witnessed the House of Sshamath growing bolder spreading their filth and lies in the streets of our fair city. Meanwhile there is a silence within, a silence emanating from the very conclave itself. The Spider has doubled its Seat in our beloved Conclave.
Has our ruling council decided to form alliance with the Spider, are the words of our sacred forefathers mere words in the wind?
Will we once again fall under the oppression of the Spider's minions?
Right now a proud defender of Sshamath in the Alhoon war and a trade dealer is about to stand trial due to the slander and deceit of the Spider's minions. This very cycle three citizens of our fair city was brutally publically murdered in the name of Lolth. Last year a congregation was assaulted and slaughtered while in peaceful worship.
If you are a person of faith, consider whose followers will be next after these misdeeds against those of the Lady of Dance. Is this what future the Conclave wants for us?
Is this fate what the common soldier bled for at Undrek Valanar, at the very gates of the city, at the slopes of far Darkhold?
The future actions of the Conclave will define what role they see for us the common citizens of Sshamath. Once again oppression under the Spider or free proud citizens of a secular state?
I for one still believe in the Conclave's wisdom.
