No clue where to post. Having problems

Hello everyone

I have some questions about the server

I wanne play a female dwarf here. But she like gold and shinies.
Mining is her main source of spending time. Is it possible to mine on this server?
She's an apprentice smith, so it this possible on the server?


I thought about making a necromancer but i gues its a little too hard for a first character here .


So i'll continue with the dwarf, is there a community of dwarfs here? They plan events ( dm approved ones)?

1) There's no mining, you'll find occasional stones while killing monsters.

2) There's no smithing or crafting, but your choices are (a) if it's the case, ask for metal as DM reward (2) wait for the crafting system to be in game.

3) Necromancer is hard only if you want to solo. If you're in a party, you'll be protected enough.

Eden answered before I got my reply in so I'll just add to his instead of repeating..!

2) Don't wait for crafting, you'll wait a good while You can RP being an apprentice smith, perhaps even finding another character who is a smith.

3) If you want to play a necromancer, give it a go! Might die horribly a couple of times by other players before you learn to keep a low profile but hey, that's the fun with necromancers.. right?

As the others said, there is no mining or crafting in game, but you can RP it. I have a dwarven Smith/Loremaster/Runecrafter and I would be happy to apprentice you : ) I believe Teo also has one and I am sure he wouldn't mind the RP.

I've come up with some Dwarfs i would like to give a shot


A female dwarf:

A)

A wizard/fighter type: Wielding a Warhammer or something like it(2 handed weapon). Using defensive spells and use the hammer to attack. So i'm not maxing my stats for pure wizard nor fighter... Altough dwarfs do not like magic

B) A pure sorc/palemaster/fighter type. Same goes for above. I do not care for the lower CHA... ts the fun out of it.

C) A druid like before (not one that shapeshifts)

D) Suggestions are welcome

Its a clan/house/guild that uses the same second name? The dwarven one?


Too bad there is no crafting system, its fun to setup an economy based on crafting materials. You have providers of crafting materials, miners, ... and those who craft. THen the 3the party that does non of the mentioned above.

Have you looked into the server's custom dwarf prestige class? Battlerager for sure has low charisma

Then there is the OC one, Dwarven Defender.

You will need a + 3 intelligence item to cast 9th level spells. You will be able to wear armour and cast with no spell failure. This build is made to use non DC damage spells when you need them and you have empowered spell for an extra boost.
