The Library and the UD/Surface Divide

So I've been working on ideas for a book to add to the library since before writable books were actually announced, but I've run into a slight problem. My character is in the Underdark, and as such her writing will involve Underdark things. Thing is all the books I see on the library involve surface stuff. That's not too much of a problem in and of itself, many things are shipped down into the dark, including literature. The problem is that Underdark books would be showing up on the surface as well, and I'm not quite sure how that should be handled in RP.
It's an easy thing to fix for the auction, you just ignore the names of the people selling the items, but with books that hold actual information it's a little different. I would be more than happy to have my stuff read on the surface, but would they actually make it up there? Would they be considered as somewhat OOC, or could it lead to legitimate RP and information sharing between the Underdark and Surface?
*Before anyone says it I fully know there are some things the Conclave wouldn't allow to be published in a book, I'm talking general UD information the average surfacer likely wouldn't know but is common knowledge to UD characters.*
