It has 10% immunity to Cold/Elec/Fire what does it mean?

If someone casts a Fireball on your character, and it would hit for a total of 100 damage, the helmet reduces that damage by 10% i.e. 10 points in this case.

The same would hold true for all the other elements mentioned on the helmet, in this case Cold, Electricity and fire.

It would always reduce the damage with a clean 10%, so 10 damage of cold, would translate into only 9 points after immunities was factored in.

Yep answers it very well, now is it actually worth anything or is it just vendor food?

Does immunity hit before or after resist?

i.e. I have 10% immunity and 10/- resist to fire, I take a 100 point fireball.
Immunity hits first, I'd take (100*0.9) - 10 = 80 damage
Resist hits first, I'd take (100 - 10)*0.9 = 81 damage
