Background:
Darius is from a large family, with 4 older brothers. Like many from Elturel they are a family devoted to Torm.
Being the youngest male Darius has always looked up to his brothers, but would some day like to set himself apart from them and
he is most keen to do this through service to Torm, militant or otherwise. This drove him to seek adventure Westward along the Sword

Coast.

Goals:
It seems that since his arrival in Baldur's Gate, news has filtered through of the destruction of Triel, his home, and the loss of

the area to some curse or disease. Undead are often part of the tales as are other horrors unimaginable. Darius plans to hone his

skills, gather allies and eventually head home to face this unknown evil.

Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
Darius has a sister that left home when he was a baby. She was clearly not cut out for a rigid life in Elturel and the family never

really spoke of her in detail. The impression he has is that there was something about her that they kept hidden or were ashamed of.

Recent posts on the forums have relayed stories of Triel. As far as Darius knows his parents, four brothers and extended family

(other than his sister) were all lost to the plagues, but this is not something he has verified.

The Manes were well loved in both the Church (of Torm) and local militia, due to services rendered. Darius is polite, well mannered,

goodnatured and kind-hearted. He stands against the darker things of the world as he was raised to, and has no doubts as to his

position in the grand scheme of things. Yet.
