All the spells with elemental damage in theory. I don't think there is any exception.

Elemental Damage: Fire, Sonic, Cold, Electrical, Acid.
If you find one that doesn't work, do tell us.

In theory it would convert all elements into the same. That means, that instead of dividing the damage into 5 different elements, it'll just be of one element.

So this would include AoE's such as Wall of Fire?
I ask because Mastery of Shaping does not work with everything

Persistent AoE spells rarely allows anything to affect them - they can be insanely buggy in my experience at least.
I do believe Wall of Fire, and any spell like it *can't think of any off the top of my head though*, would be the only ones that won't work with Mastery of Elements. But that's probably more of an issue due to how NWN2 scripting works than anything else ^.^

I think it works with AoE's. It should work for sure with wall of fire.
Mastery of Shaping also worked with those spells, but that got disabled because its at odds with how its supposed to work. That was the QC and DM consensus at the time. I'm personally okay with having it work for AoE's, but there might also be balance issues that I don't know of.

But... if Mastery of Shaping doesn't work with AoE/Wall spells, what's its purpose?

It does not work with persistent AoEs, otherwise you can fireball your feet and be left untouched.
If persistent AoEs were allowed you could do some shenaningans like grease + cloudkill and sit in the middle while pulling the mobs to you. Among other combinations ... best to leave this untouched.

Aaah, understood. For some reason I thought Rasael meant all AoEs, not just persistent ones.

cloudkill is level 5, that would mean you would have to be able to cast a level 11 spell.
The highest level persistant spells would be level 3.
I'd like persistent spell for lvl 2 and 1 spells at least. Or maybe a quad extend spell?
