Israe'anna- Dark Desires

Unread post by Israe »

The drow known as Israe'anna sits at a table in Gloura's Wings. As she sits, she silently reflects on recent decisions made, as well as she tries to think back to memories of her upbringing, many of which were stolen from her by the Ullithid.

As she reflects, she would remember the days of her being born to a heretical faction in V'Elddrinnsshar. As a commoner, she of course had very little rights, always poor among drow standards. She would count herself fortunate to have received training among Sargtlin from the melee'magthere, learning how to at least defend herself with a blade. As she walked the streets of the cursed city, herself still a child among their standards at only 70 years old, she would note the effects of the Ascomoid plague on the people. The once noble Drow of the city, in mass are nothing more than beggars. While the noble houses would hole up and force the commoners away, as well as people trying to take precautions so as to not catch the plague, the streets would be in the most chaotic state she'd ever seen.

She would return to her home, of course being a true Illythirri in her own mind, her father would have long since been disceased. Her mother, Ra'miira would sit at the table, drinking her blood wine. As Israe'anna looks at her mother, she would envy the silver rings her mother wears on each finger. Her mother would be beautiful, smiling at her as she enters before speaking to her.

"Where have dos been, elg'caress?"

Israe'anna would not smile. She would not blink, she meets the stair of her mother with the coldness she was tought, not wishing to earn herself a beating for showing emotion. "I was getting food."

Her mother laughs in her face. Ra'miira would stand, walking towards Israe'anna
"And where is food, as you said you were getting? Dos have been gone for three hours, so I assume it is plentiful."

Israe tilts her head, she knew better than to lie. Ra'miira always knew when she lied. Instead Israe would break eye contact for a moment-
*SLAP!*
Israe would tumble to the floor, her mother having struck her hard with a leathered glove for looking away
"Dos look at me when I address you ssindossa!"

Israe shakes her head slightly, regaining her senses, ignoring the stinging pain in her cheek. She still would decide in her mind to not admit she had been receiving training from a Sargtlin she fancied, instead of stealing food for her and her mother. She of course would have nothing to show for it, as she usually has very little to show for it. Her and her mother would be thin, though the pain of hunger would have long since subsided as it has become a normal part of life in the condemned city.

"Mother, I'm sorry-"
*A boot collides with her face, her nose bursting into a bloody mess*

Ra'miira would utterly scream at Israe'anna, at the top of her voice "What did you say! What do we forgive ssindossa?!"

"Nauthing mother...."

Ra'miira sneers. "And the food"

"I do naut have it...." Israe lowers her head, expecting another blow.

"Dos -will- get it.... we forgive nauthing and will survive. This is all temporary. Usstan will teach you Israe, I promise you. You will have food tomorrow, or I cut off your hands. Understood?"

Israe would rub her bloody nose, not only bloody from being hit, but a gash formed on the side of her cheek from the full weight of the boot that had struck her. "Yes mot-"
*A large explosion rocks the house*

Ra'miira sighs to Israe. "They're doing it again, get to dos room. Keep your weapons close. If they come in here, stay out of my way."

Israe'anna would place the quill she was writing on the paper down. She takes a sip from the wine she was drinking, in moderation of course. As she reflects upon her child hood, she would rub her own belly and close the book. She would find it hard to have a drow-like view on her upcoming child, having made quite a life for herself in comparison to most of her peers. She would smile and stand up, bringing the book along and heading to the Spider's Kiss immediately upon exiting Gloura's. As she arrives at the Spider's Kiss, she would go to her room, and smile to the Drow Male tied to her bed. She would almost laugh, as she speaks softly.

"Bwael dos are finally conscious. My children are hungry."

Israe'anna would snap her teeth once, as she slowly approaches the male. Madness would be in her eyes, as she is amused while she walks forward. She would move the whole way to the male, proceeding to consume him alive in her mad cravings. ((Fade to Black))

Israe'anna would relax, laying and stretching near the Misty Lake. She would open her book, continuing to recall memories and write them.

Israe'anna would wake up from her bed, almost smiling immediately as she springs out of the bed. She would put on her viel to protect her from the plague, covering her skin as she exits her room. She would exit the house before Ra'miira realizes she is up, and hits the streets of V'Elddrinnsshar. The streets would continue to be in a mess and disarray, as the city around her would be crumbling. She would be wary, yet she continues moving quickly, more than a few of the poor around her and plagued eyeing her as she moves. The civil war would be raging between the commoners and nobles, as she finally arrives to her destination in a small building.

As she enters the building, the room would be adorned with practice dummies and targets. The room itself would be completely black, the targets glowing, no distractions to be seen anywhere. Israe'anna purses her lips as she realizes that the male she came to see. As she was staring ahead, she would be startled as dark muscled arms slip around her, pinning her slender arms to her side, and handling her with ease. She would be turned by the arms, starting to laugh as she realizes Caleylagh had got the jump on her again.

Caleylagh would be a stunning sight in front of her, the 5'11" enormous muscled drow would be handsome, holding a large Javelin. He would have many piercings throughout both ears and nose, as well as his face. The male drow would be a noble of Tegredir, he would be a male many females have strived to have, and Israe'anna had him. She would smile up at him brightly, revealing her face.

"Caley, must dos always get the jump on me?"

Caley smiles to her, tilting his head at her question. "How can usstan truly let dos trust me to have your back, if I did naut always take it."

Israe would almost blush, as she pulls her kukris. "The lessons jaluk! Surely this is the time I cut you."

Caleylagh would almost laugh at her, as he would oblidge the female in yet another training sessions. The sessions would go for hours, Israe'anna constantly slipping into the dark to try to slip the trained male. She would sometimes be successful, only to be denied any opening by the jaluk who would be a legend among his peers. After the hours of training, both their bodies would glisten in sweat. Israe'annas clothes would cling tightly to her body, showing she is truly as lithe as it comes among drow.

"If you were not so eager to strike every opening, dos might land a blow, jabress."

Israe'anna would rub her head where he'd clocked her a few solid hits with the flat of his javelin. "Wael, if I did naut take openings, what would you still find in me to like?" *She would send a disarming smile to him as she walks up to the male seductively, wrapping her arms around his neck. As the male would slip his own around her waste, Israe'anna would flick a small knife from her sleeve, placing it against the males carotid artery, she would seem deathly serious for a moment, before laughing* "And it appears I've won, jaluk. Bwael fight, though!"

Caley would tense up for a moment as if about to snap her, he instead would return the laugh, pushing Israe'anna down onto the cold floor gently, lieing ontop of her. As they press together, he would have lust in his eyes that the young female drow would return, as they would embrace each other deeply.

((Fade to black))
((Five minutes later))

Israe'anna would sigh, breathing heavily as she lays face first on the ground, staring at the male laying on his back next to her disappointedly. Her eyes would move to examining the darkness, not saying a word as to not wish to incite anger in the noble male. Regardless, she would not be happy.

"What is wrong, Israe?" Caley would raise a brow, exhausted and obviously done with the encounter.

"I'll give you -five- minutes to think about it, Caley. Must you always be so selfish?"

"We are drow Israe, and I am noble. Dos should be happy you are privelaged to lay near me."

Israe would sigh softly, and turn towards him. She gently strokes the side of his face, before shaking her head and standing slowly. "I need some time to deal with this disappointment jaluk." With that Israe doesn't spare him another glance or more words, she would exit the building. She sighs and agitatedly heads back towards her home. She would enter the door of her house, heading towards her room. She wouldn't make it more than five steps before a ringing hits her ears, blacking out for a moment.
As Israe'anna opens her eyes, she would feel four small cuts on her face. She looks up at Ra'miira, who would be standing over her with the ever-enraged expression. Her hands would have the same silver rings, as well as the mithril claws that were custom made for each of her mothers fingers, each over two inches in length with razor sharp tips. The tips of the ones on her right hand would be tipped in red, from Israe'annas blood.

"Must you always be out and doing things that are unproductive, without telling me ssin?" Ra'miira snarls at Israe'anna.

Israe'anna would stare at Ra'miira unwaveringly. She would stand slowly, and as she stands eye to eye with Ra'miira, she answers softly. "I was being productive, I was training."

Ra'miira would strike across at Israe'anna, attempting to slap her face again with the vicious claws.

Israe'anna ducks back, with ease she dodges the slap, staring at Ra'miira passively. "Usstan knows dos will naut kill me, mother. As I said, I've been training, now return to your mushrooms while -I- am productive."

Ra'miira would swing again, however Israe'anna would catch the hand and trip up Ra'miira, sending her to her back. Ra'miira would look up at Israe'anna, speechless, as Israe'anna would slowly walk to her room with a look that shows how tired she is of her mother. She would close the door, collapsing onto her bed with exhaustion from the training, and silently thinking about the disappointment suffered at Caleyleigh's sweet-not-so-long embrace.

Israe'anna would yawn, and close the book. She stands, deciding it is time to head back to the city. She once again subconsciously rubs her stomache, memories of her own past forcing her to think about the futures of those who will matter to her.

Israe would finally arrive at the city. Exhausted from the trip, which would shock her, she lays down in a bed in the Spider's Kiss, confident in her safety do to how valuable she is to the temple at the current time. She re-opens her book, and begins writing.

Israe'annas eyes would snap open as the ground vibrates. After the fight with her mother, she would have been on edge, maybe she was imag- *The ground rumbles*. No, there it was again. She sits up and slips off her bed, looking around confused. The explosions would rock the windows as she rises, looking out. The city would be dark, if not for the fact the city is on fire. Frightened, Israe'anna walks out to the main living room.

Ra'miira would stand, vicious sickles in hand, with her mithril claws adorning her hands. She stares at the door like an eagle watching a mouse, as she slowly would turn that gaze to Israe. "It is time daughter, the city is falling. The Nobles are evacuating, and war rages in the streets."

Israe'anna would follow Ra'miira as they exit the house together. The streets would be utter chaos, multitude of corpses ranging from the lowest of slaves to noble soldiers adorning the streets, blood splattered against everything. It would appear the slaves would be winning, as orcs and bugbears would be tearing drow that would beg and plead apart on the street. Ra'miira however would be no novice, and lead Israe'anna to near alleys. They would make their way quickly through the city, as she speaks to Israe'. "House Tegredir is retreating across the Lake to the North. If we reach them, they are the most likely that we can infiltrate their boats, and get off this forsaken island."

Israe would look at her mother, following her through the smoke filled streets. The heat from the fire would literally be enough to drive a woman mad, as they avoid many roaming bands of marauding... former... slaves. Drow commoners on all fronts would be slaughtered by the dozens, not standing a chance against the now armed slaves. The noble houses offer no assistance with dealing with the revolt, as the city would literally be every house for itself at this point. Among the corpses riddling the streets, are traces of corpses that died to the Ascomoid plague that put the city in this state and quarantine in the first place.

As they would near the Northern most edges of the city, the throngs of combat would ring through the streets. As many drow have retreated to the north, so has the slave population. The slave population would be combating drow in mass, as Israe and Ra'miira hide in a nearby alley awaiting the battle in front of them to present an opening for them to cross the street.

Both of the drow females freeze in their tracks, the guttural language of orcs heard behind them. As they turn Israe would glance to the orcs. A total of five brutes, 3 armed with spears, two with clubs. She instantly draws her Kukris, as Ra'miira draws her sickles. There is no talk, both parties understanding there will be no quarter, and the black orcs obviously wanting none. The battle would engage furiously- three of the orcs going after Ra'miira, two of which are armed with spears. And the remaining two go after Israe'anna.

Ra'miira would show her true skill in the fight. One did not grow up worshipping the Revenancer being weak, as the first few moments of the battle would put her on an utter defensive. She would parry both the spears with her sickles, as the two with spears flank her sides. The one with the club comes on head first, swinging overhand chops at Ra's head. Ra'miira however would maintain positive control over the spears by twisting her sickles, while she nimbly dodges backwards and side to side to evade the vicious club. Ra'miira would spend the good first few moments of the fight using her evasion, before she would use her aggression and rage to fuel her own bloodlust, she evades the club yet again. As the orc would raise its club again, Ra releases the spears, and would leap forward, bringing both sickles into the lungs of the orc, one sickle piercing each. She instantly steps back and resumes to try to log the spears again as they come in with her sickles. A sharp pain would puncture her left side as one of the spears slips past her defense. She would respond by catching the other one with the sickle, and bringing her left hand sickle across and breaking the spear in half. As she breaks it, she drops the sickle in her left hand, catching the broken spear shaft, she reverses just as quick with a violent hiss, she sends the shaft into the neck of the orc. It would die in moments, its neck veins stuck, the creature collapses to the ground- breathless. She would square up to the final orc, blood running down her side as the pain would feel like a violent cramp, she readies her single sickle to fight the orc who now has half a spear shaft.

Israe'anna would fair off much less elegant, as the orcs charge her she -runs-. The lithe drow would leap to nearby barrels, breaking the orcs charge by flinging bottles on a nearby ledge at the orcs, hitting both of them in the face. It would succeed in pissing the orcs off further, as Israe leaps over them as they come in close to her. She would feel the poke of a spear hitting her foot, though it would not penetrate, she would roll as she lands and turns with her kukri's out, ready to continue evading as she tries to figure out what to do. The two orcs would use the best tactic known to orcs, and charge Israe'anna as one. As they come near her, she would charge too, feigning as if to fight them with her Kukris. When they come close, Israe'anna slides between them, slashing the one with the spear in the ankle. She would deftly roll back to her feet, hearing the scream of the first orc Ra'miira kills. She would waste no time, expecting the orcs to react to the scream of their companion, she turns and would leap onto the one with the spear. She would move quickly, the orc having looked away, it would never get the chance to look back as Israe' hooks her sharp kukri on its throat- and slits sending a line of blood flying in the street, on her face, and on the orc with the clubs face. Israe would turn to the one with the club, just in time to have to use her arm to block the club sending a jarring pain down her left arm and shoulder, she staggers back and falls to the ground from the impact, her shoulder aching from the pain. She would slide back to her feet however before the creature could advance on her. As she nears the orc, squared up and ready to fight, she pulls a bottle out of her potion and says in terribly accented Orcish "Grenade!". She tosses the bottle up into the air above the orc, who would then catch the "Grenade" to keep it from exploding, just in time to look back down and realize its own throat was slit. The last images the orc would have would be Israe' smiling at him, and plucking the bottle back from the orc. Israe'anna opens the bottle and takes a deep drink of the blood wine, before looking to watch her mother fight the remaining orc.

Ra'miira would be wounded, that much is obvious in the way she moves. She advances on the last orc with the half-shaft. She charges the creature and would bring both sickles spinning into the shaft of the spear. Ra would repeatedly strike the shaft, keeping the orc flat footed, before she drops her weight, hooking the orcs left ankle with her sickle, she rips backwards severing the Achilles of the orc. As the orc falls, she would not kill it with her sickle, as she instead kicks the half-shaft away from the orc, and leaps up on it. Ra'miira raises the vicious mithril claws, laughing at the orc, and in one movement she slaps the orcs hands aside with her left hand, and drives the index and middle finger of her right hand into the orcs eyes slowly, so it could feel every slow advance of the claws into its eye socket, only to kill it shortly after as it would enter its brain. Ra'miira would then roll over to her side, checking her own injury.

Israe would sprint to her fallen mother, and quickly kneels by Ra'miira. She would expose the wound, eyeing the angle at which the spear went into Ra and how deep. Shortly after she would sigh, realizing the spear is not a mortal wound.

"Israe, be a dear and help me up."

"Mother, you should have been more careful.... how did it get you?" Israe would ask curiously.

"Damned creatures had both flanks, I left an opening and did naut react quick enough. Now help me up daughter" Ra'miira sighs to her, and smiles. "I'm proud of you too... you fought well."

Israe smiles to her mother, and clasp her Ra'miiras hands in her own. "I've waited so long to hear you say that. I'm proud of you too mother, you tought me well."

Ra'miira would smile to Israe'anna as well. Israe'anna would then pull Ra's hand slightly, as if to help her up, driving her left hand Kukri down into Ra'miiras neck at the same time. Ra'miira would instantly start choking on her blood as her daughter drives the Kukri the whole way through her carotid arteries and windpipe, eyes wide in shock at the treachery of her daughter.

"Oh mother.... you tought me so well. When I want something- I take it." Israe'anna would remove the claws and silver rings from Ra'miira in her last moments, putting them on herself. "Oh how I envy you, I gift you death dear mother. I never forgave you for abusing me, or putting me through this hell." Israe would smile again, grabbing a handful of her mothers life-blood and smearing it into her hair. "Sleep well mother, in death may you truly serve." Israe'anna would rise up, walking away from Ra'miira without another thought. Headed north of course, towards the Noble evactuation.

Ra'miira would start fading to darkness, her eyes on her daughter as her treacherous daughter walks away. Ra' would feel the pain of the blow on her neck, her body aching from the orcish spear as well as her warm blood flows freely onto the ground, pooling underneath her. As her daughter moves Ra' would force a smile on her lips, simply thinking "Well done, daughter", as she slips from consciousness, only to add herself to the immense amount of casualties of V'Elddrinnsshar's plague.

Israe'anna closes the book, and lays back, closing her eyes. She decides this is enough for tonight, as she opens a small box she would remove a strip of Svirnfeblin flesh. She shoves the flesh into her mouth, and gently sucks on it as she closes her eyes, drifting into unconsciousness as she rest in the comfy bed of the Spider's Kiss.... oh how far she has come.

Israe would return to the Spider's Kiss after her words with the human female were complete. She would silently berate herself for not having just killed the female outright, as she opens the door to her room. Once in her room, she would look at the human male sleeping in her bed, in shock for a moment, before remembering. She decides that while he's here, she might as well have a little fun with him. Of course him paying her 10 thousand for safety in Sshamath was more than enough for her, as she would lay down in the bed next to him anyways. Once in the bed, she would do as drow would do finding entertainment with the human male, despite his shock at the situation. ((Fade to Black))
Once finished she would hold him tight, disgusted at the aspect of "Cuddling" that humans would have, however she would smell his skin near her as the madness returns in her eyes. Israe would sink her teeth into a deep bite on the mans arm, her desire to eat intelligent flesh overwhelming any good senses. The man would pull away, as she would chew what little she did get, a smile on her face. After select words are exchanged the human would storm out freely onto the streets of Sshamath, Israe'anna still laughing despite the disappointments suffered in the night. As he leaves she would lay back, opening the book and resuming to write in it.

Israe'anna would be crouching on a rooftop on the northern most edge of the island. Down below her on the street she would have a clear view of the waters that stretch out far to the Cavern, and house Tegredirs soldiers and nobles evacuating. Just across from the line of Tegredir soldiers, many many commoners would be seen rallying, organizing, and every few minutes their bodies would slam into the Tegredirs lines, only to be broken and pushed back to regroup. The process would have been going on for hours now, as some of the Tegredir nobles who were too late to evacuate would try to get through the throng- they would get torn apart.

Israe continues to observe for some time, realizing the boats off are getting less and less, and those who did get off are not bringing their boats back. How very drow-like of them. Finally she sees what she is looking for, Caleylagh. He would be near their weapon master of the soldiers, for once Israe seeing herself that the male is indeed in high standing among his house. She edges down the side of the building, lightly allowing herself to fall to the streets.

As she enters the throng of commoners, she would be dressed in fully black, with a long silver veil covering her face. She easily and lithely moves through the crowd, finding the position which is nearest to Caleylagh. She waits. Finally, once organized, the commoners would crash against the nobles lines again. She waits. A few minutes later as the commoner lines start crumbling, she edges forward to where she would meet Caleylagh. The noble male would be cutting down commoners like cattle, no real effort put forth, so she smiles and would leap infront of the line of commoners, to meet Caleylagh in singular combat. She pulls both of her Kukris off her back as she does, squaring off to him.

As Caleylagh notices the female, another commoner in his eyes, he brings his javelin above in an overhead chop. Simple enough, the elg'caress uses two kukris, she should be easily killed. As the power of the chop would be enough to break through a Kukris defenses, he would feel the shocking jar in his arm of the female taping the javelin to the side with a Kukri and spinning out of the way. He expected this possibility, and would swipe his javelin immediately to the left trying to take the woman apart in half.

Israe smirks as Caley does exactly what she knew he would, and slides forward underneath the blow. As she steps inside the overwhelming males grasp, she would slap her Kukris against his armor multiple times, flat sides, simply to jar him. The male would look down at her in outrage, sending his fist forward at her. She ducks underneath the fist, and would put her Kukri right to the soft spot between his groin and leg, where his femoral artery would be. She presses against it to give him a warning.

"Dear Caley, you're going to get me on a boat, aren't you?"

The male would hiss in response, he glares down at her. "You are no noble, and why would you put me in this position, Israe?"

"I plan on surviving" She would smile to him deeply. "You'd better make your decision quick, when they muster and charge the line again, I'll be forced to kill you and slip through to a boat anyways."

"Fine! You'll meet me on the shores of the other side of the lake. If I let you free you are -mine-"

"Deal."

Israe would walk by once allowed, and move to a boat. She sits in it covering herself completely, before shortly after the boat pushes off. It would be a silent trip, as she silently thanks herself that she will have Caley now to show her a new life now that the old one is over. It would be a long trip, roughly 30 minutes in however a large explosion would be seen back at V'eldrrinnsshar. As she looks at the doomed city, she would realize that the explosion was at the Tegredir lines. Apparently they had fallen, and one of the house wizards had panicked lighting up commoner and noble alike. She feels her heart sink into her chest, as she looks back towards the shores ahead of her and the lost survivors. She would sigh softly, silently vowing to herself to never look back. Her city is dead, she will never look back. As the boat would slide onto the shore, she hops off, disappearing quickly into the crowds. She recalls a city named Sshamath, and decides that it may be a long trip, but that should be her next stop. As a houseless commoner, not many opportunities are afforded her, so the city of trade may have more than any other city.

Israe'anna closes the book, and rolls over closing her eyes. She would decide it is enough for her to write for now, and she will continue some tomorrow.
