Background:
Hrorn hails from the region bordering the Great Glacier, amidst the high altitude woods of the Galena Mountains. A most unusual land to give birth to such strange druidic circle of shapechangers.
Their history begins with Gwiniel, whom they call the Mother. Earlier in time, the then young lady aspiring to become a great Druid of the Moon Sea, faced certain death in the hands of orcish raiders on the shores of River Dallon. Her spirit was broken and her life was on the edge, and when all else had abandoned her, there he came - the great mighty bear, coming out as a bolt from the sky with his powerful roar and his great claws, killing the foes of Gwiniel and setting her free. For a week after that, the bear took care of Gwiniel and when she effectively regained counciousness, he vanished for the first time. Since that day, she pursued with all her might and all that she had in her possession for her bear who rescued her from death.
After sixteen years wandering through all of Faêrun, near the high woods of the Galena Mountains, in one cold morning, she saw Áberan, her long time saviour. As soon as she saw him, she knew. Áberan was a mighty figure, one of the Ursinal, celestial bear-like creatures, keepers of the knowledge of Elysium. A proud representant of his own kin. The Circle deems Áberan as 'The Father'.
They stood together for about a year, making the Galena Mountains their home, Gwiniel enhancing her own knowledge of Divine magic while Áberan delighted himself in being away from the problems of greater need. They both isolated themselves from the world amidst the peaks of those mountains, quietly and happily enjoying the company of each other.
Their time had produced great things, one of them was Anbréorn, whom the Circle calls as 'The Wanderer', as he was the first to endure the 'Journey', that is, to wander throughout the land for sixteen years to then find his way back to the Mother. He started the Áberan Circle, and with time they prospered as one of the dominant Circles of the Galena Mountains under Anbréorn's leadership. Like it happened to his Mother, Anbréorn saw the mighty Bear to vanish away as he was born. Every born member of the Circle then has to endure the same fate as 'The Mother', to seek for Áberan for sixteen years and then find their way back to the Galena.
The heritage of Áberan of his own celestial bear blood runs through the veins of every Circle member, with this, it is in every Circle member own goal to master his Bear nature to full extent, aided by the guidance of the teachings of the 'Mother'.
Amidst all this, there's then Hrorn, a young and proud member of the Áberan Circle, who was called 'The Tall' for his unusual height, even for the Circle standards. Hrorn nowdays is going through the 'Journey', he usually travels through the countryside avoiding overly crowded roads and prefers not to stay for more than a week in big cities. Hrorn can always be seen with a Bear, whom he calls 'Lenin'. Their friendship, alongside the teachings given by the 'Mother' and the advices of the 'Wanderer' are the keen weapons to his success in his first steps to maturity.
He decided to go to Baldur's gate after hearing stories of the wondrous city by his older brothers, so he decided this would be a good place to visit during his own Journey through Faerun and through life.
Goals: Hrorn's main goal is to grow stronger in his bear nature and to enhance his knowledge in Divine Magic, these are sided only by the obvious curiosity to see the word with his own two brown eyes.
Possible Plot-Hook Ideas and Misc Facts:
He can join forces with other casters of Divine magic in the search of better understanding of the same.
He would be happy to follow the guidances of more experienced Druids.
He is not a big fan of undead creatures or necromancy.
