Appearance: Shorter than average for a gnome, healthy looking with quick feet and an agile gait. Dresses himself simply and practically. He is very good looking for a gnome, with a handsome face, light brown skin, and a very goodly sized nose.

Age: 30 + (nearing adulthood)
Height: 2'8'' ft
Weight: 40 lbs
Eyes: Green
Hair: Brown
Facial Hair Style: Small goatie in two braids hanging from his chin. No mustache.
Personality Profile:
Curious, bold and daring when roaming around. Timid and quiet in acquaintances (much warmer towards Hin and Dwarfs) but his curiosity usually gets the best of him. Brutally honest and not a little inadequate with everyone he speaks to.

Background:
Davril comes from a Gnome community in the Feywild, called Graveltoes after the clan that founded it long ago. Their clan members (along with another number of gnomes) chose the wrong Eladrin ruins for a festival and were transported into the Feywild when the Fey Crossing took place. They settled and even prospered there.
Davril had a love for wordplay and magic that manifested in arcane ability proper, making him a valuable member of the scouts who worked both over and underground, hunting, gathering and fighting the occasional Unseelie Fey or Fomorian slave patrols, before moving again to avoid detection with the community.
One such encounter ended badly when Davril's group was taken by a patrol. Their Unseelie master was eager for fresh troupes, and immediately started the mental torture process he enjoyed using before casting the powerful enchantments to enslave his captives.
Davril's memories were very damaged in the process, but he could and can still remember the name Graveltoes, his previous occupation, culture and the Feywild, with blanks obviously. The loss he mourns the most tho is not being able to recall a single name or face of the people he lived with, and his original name (Davril being his own invention).
The first time that Davril returned to his new master's hiding place was to recast the enchantments that kept him a slave, and coincided with an attack by an opposing faction. The mountainside cave hideout came down during the battle, and Davril ended up buried inside, locked in one of the chambers.
He doesnt know how he came back to the Prime, except that he woke up in a similar mountainside cave somewhere in the Far Hills, a shiny diamond greeting him as soon as he opened his eyes. He took that for a favor from Segojan Earthcaller, his patron, and roamed for a couple of months before coming to Baldur's Gate, selling the diamond, and starting an adventuring life.
Goals: He is determined to not let his past ruin the rest of his life with a bitter existence. He wants to enjoy life as much as he can. If he comes accross a way to visit the Feywild and learn about the people he left behind there, he will gladly take it. But remembering the nature and sheer size of the Feywild makes it clear to him that the chances are extremely slim.
