Background:
At a young age, Selena and her twin brother, Jayce, were left at the doorstep of House of Moon, the temple of Selûne, in Waterdeep. From there, the priestesses and even the High Priestess of Moonlight, Naneathea Suaril, could see that both children were favoured by Our Lady of Silver. Each child, at the base of their neck, had a crescent moon birthmark.
Throughout the years of being sheltered and taken care of, both children, trained in their faith and natural powers that were graced unto them. Jayce had trained to hunt those who dwell in The Night, and seek out the fabled 'Tears of Selûne.' Selena, however, trained to become an elite clergy member known as a 'Silverstar.'
After her many years of training, Selena was sent, along with her brother, south along the Coast to help out the rumoured and plagued land. Jayce, trained and cloaked in the night, slipped of to aid elsewhere, leaving his sister alone on her travels. . .
Goals:
- To illuminate the path, and help those in The Dark.
- To purge the land of undeath, or at least quell as much as she can.
- To identify lycanthropes of Malar; and either show them the light, or put them down the beasts they are.
- To learn how to sing and dance; though she's had minor training in both.
- To show those the light, and convert them to Our Silver Lady.
- To slay those who go 'bump' in The Night, and keep away those who willingly accept the dark.
Possible Plot Hooks / Misc. Facts:
- Anything, really!
- She has a slender, crescent moon birthmark on the back of her neck; though it's hidden by her hair most of the time.
- She's an ally of Eilistraee and those faithful of her.
- She wants to meet a lycanthrope who shares the same faith.
- Though she's faithful to Selûne, she holds Lurue's teachings close to heart, as the Unicorn is the daughter of the Moon.
- Any Selûnite from the House of Moon would know of her, obviously.
