Epic Resilience Clarification

Could somone explain to me how this feat works? The description doesn't really make sense to me. Does this mean you get 2 rolls to win over a foes dc in defense instead of 1 or what?

the feat does wht it says

You no longer automatically fail saving throws on a roll of 1

so when you make a will based saving throw and have a 30 will save
if you roll 1 you normally auto-fail, no matter the spell DC being cast on you

so the spell could have 17 DC you have 30 will save but if you roll a 1 you fail the save

the feat makes you not fail on 1's

so its like you rolled 31
