In the lee of the ancient tower
Not far from where the bandits at the commandeer a portion of trade at crossing of the Winding Water an elven woman of Doran Amar was noted waiting in the lee of the ancient tower. Sometime later a Dharashan elven woman joined her company at the campfire. Were tales simply told? What topics required lengthy discussion? Their conversation seemed to take many hours.

Overhead stars coursed. Some twinkled, others blazed fiercely and still others glowed dimly. It had been some time since she had let her vision trace the familiar patterns of constellations.
Some recent events streamed through her reverie but now, gazing upward, she would sort them out. In meditation and ritual her vision would seek a void, then focus on a point of color that she could identify. Her prayers and meditations would seek these foci and her intuition, itself the grace of wisdom her Goddess blessed her with, would work towards understanding the mysteries before her.
The colors were key. Turquoise, purple, gold, emerald, the yellow orange of fireb, lack, and a blue of ice. These colors also twinkled overhead in the night sky. There, and there, too.. in patterns. In meditation, she did not think of them by name, but, stargazing, she would name them. A star there, and there, too, some unique, others she named new constellations for. The Adopted, the Triplets, the Archmage, the Freed Sheverashan, the Cormiira, the Revenant, the Reverend, the Shadowed Mage, and many others.
Sitting calmly, she gazed at the sky. The patterns and stars of recent events settling into their ecliptic places.
But one color.. dominated all. The light of the full moon, a silver illuminating light. Closer than the stars, so silver and shimmering, it was the object of her prayers.
